So I just got an email from Mazda with a link to watch the live world premiere next Tuesday.

Possibly a more likely guess would be a PRHT Miata.

They better do something...they sold 10x the number of CX-5's than they did MX-5's last month. approx. ~ 790 vs 7900. (seasonal?)

But you are probably right...by using the terms "blow the lid"...

... but by "NEW VEHICLE" I was really hoping for something really NEW...

Uhh...MX-5 is a low volume "halo car". Alsways has been, always will be.
