Disappointments / missing things in your CX-5?

My Garmin GPS has that capability. It also does a remarkable job of estimating fuel consumption for the trip.
I would guess that could be part of the Mazda nav system.

- The damn auto hold has to be turned ON every time I start the car. WHY!?

According to the manual, this is purposeful. They don’t want you to get used to this feature, in case you jump into a car that doesn’t have it ... and let your foot off the brake, and crash into the car or pedestrian in front of you.

Every one of 30 automobiles I've owned in the last 30 years including my 2020 CX-5 has had a trip odometer that measures how far I've driven since the last reset. Only a few recent Hondas and a new Ford Escort my parents bought back in '81 have had an elapsed timer.
I must have been spoiled then. I had a Nissan Maxima and then a Kia Soul all had a trip computer that displayed distance driven with elapsed time that was separate from the trip odo we have. I had the AIO hack when it first came out, had an excellent trip computer but sadly the dealer updated the FW it got wiped.

I suppose... I've driven a VW and Ford with the auto hold feature, both of them stayed on not sure about other MFG. Not even sure if there is a government regulation for this function.
