Everybody makes mistakes

This is exactly what I am thinking! Someone mistook the transaxle drain plug for the engine oil plug, drained out the fluid, filled up the engine oil but didn't check the level when done. I used to work at a Mazda dealership here in winnipeg in the service department. This is not the first time...

Guess I must be lucky or something. I have had no problems with the coating yet. And thats with all season driving (including the heavy salt/sand usage here in the winter months)

Maybe a heat shield has come loose?
