Knocking.....?????

I have a 2003 P5 (5spd), Basically, there is a slight knock if u just tap the throttle, or sometimes when u start it up...It is the most noticeable when you put the car into first gear, and just let out the clutch slowly (no throttle)....it knocks a lot. This hasnt affected performance/idle/driving, etcetc, but its definitely got me concerned...It sounds like its coming from the transmission but i could be wrong. Has anyone had this issue or anything like it?
(btw not that it matters i just have AEM sri)

Check to see if your AEM sri could be hitting the brake master cylinder.

I have, it clears all that, and the fans, everything.

Maybe a heat shield has come loose?

maybe a rod bearing??? that seems to be pretty common in fs-de's

hopefully, it seemed to get worse

Is it buckling? Could be a motor mount.

Or check the filter end of the SRI to see if it's hitting anything.
