What did you pay for your CX-5?

With the Zircon Sand color, however, virtually nothing shows up on it (except maybe thick mud or white salt residue). Mostly you cannot tell it's not freshly washed. Score!
That was what my son got on his CX-70 when he traded in his Mazda3. Definitely hides the dirt even better than my silver CX-5.
 
When I was shopping for my premium plus in platinum quartz, the websites showed six available across 3 different dealers, two at each. The car with the options I wanted showed as in transit for about 10 days before I called and inquired about it.

Two of the cars sold the weekend before I could go look at them. This was off the dealer lot farthest from where I live but closest to where I work. So I test drove a car from the lot where I purchased my previous CX 5. I had called the third lot that morning to inquire about the car in transit and they said it had just been delivered a few days ago and was available. I went over there the next day with the offer from the second dealer and they beat it so I signed the papers that day. They even drove the car up so I could at least see it before picking it up on Thursday. It still had the shipping plastic covering it.

0.9% financing over 60 months.
Could have done better on rebates ($3250) on a cash purchase but I wanted the .9%.
I did not shop around much.
 
FIrst time here as I bought a 2025 CX-5 blue 2.5S Preferred today.
In NC, OTD $28,500 ( $26,625 + TTL). "Total MSRP" on the sticker is $33,440
Is this a good deal for one year old "new" car?
My first offer accepted (actually one round - they just asked for a good review and then agreed with my offer)
Sounds like a great deal to me on that trim level. Curious as to the amount of rebates, dealer discounts, and fees.
 
Well, after months of contemplating and a few weeks of haggling I've finally agreed to make a purchase. These dealers are getting desperate to sell. 2025 CX-5 PP Platinum Quartz MSRP 37,630 Dealer discount of 2875. I didn't qualify for any discounts from Mazda besides the 2500 customer cash. With all fees and tax 34,900 out the door

Mazda + Subaru were my primaries, but personally still didn't want to own something with a CVT unless it was a hybrid. Hybrid CX-50 felt as if I was sitting on a concrete bench during the test drives, so I nixed that out of my options. After a few more drives and sitting in all the seats (and trunk) of the CX-5, I was confident.

Pulled the trigger for a '25 CX-5 CE N/A. The MSRP was $34,015, haggled down to $27,780 after taxes. Paid cash in full before rolling off the lot. Been getting blown away by this car almost every day since January :love:

1st force that persuaded me to step foot on the dealer lot was the Costco Auto Program. Stepping on the property, and I was already being given nearly $2k off msrp. I also took the instant cash reward for buying a new car from the dealer itself, which was another $2.5k off msrp.

I primarily took advantage of the dealership's urgency to make space for the incoming 2026 CX-5 for March, and their hunger to sell me a car in general. That, combined with me being more familiar with the market and the vehicle than the salesperson/dealership, allowed me to have the power in the conversation to actually walk away at first. They didn't wanna give me ~$7k for my trade-in in the first, second, & third rounds of checking with their manager, so I thanked them for their time and exchanged contact info before heading home. Not even 100 yards later, I'm getting a call asking to come back and reconsider. I reiterated my price, they promised, I U-turned and went to review the paperwork.

After calling out the misinterpretation between my "gross asking price" versus their "net asking price after tax savings," we shook hands and finalized the deal. The following morning, I came back and signed the paperwork after confirming that the numbers were the same as what I snapped a pic of the night prior... lol call me neurotic 😅😆 after the word play and number games I called them out for trying with me, I felt it was essential "to keep all parties honest".

This is my first time posting, so hello everyone! I’m in San Antonio and just got my 2025 CX5 S Premium Plus in platinum quartz metallic.

Test drove CRV EXL 1.5 t with cvt…it was ok, but nothing was a WOW! to keep us on the lot to even discuss numbers. Onward to a Mazda dealer who only had ‘25 CX 50 Premium Plus to test drive. Like was just said by Sync, it felt like sitting on concrete bench. Noisy and stiff ride. We were wanting to drive a ‘25 CX5, but had to wait till we could find one. We just couldn’t rationalize the’26 models changes with the all encompassing touchscreen. Not a fan, so it was a’25 or nothing. Next went to second Mazda dealership and got into a’25 S premium plus in pearl white msrp $38,595. Absolutely fell in love with the cx5. We honestly felt it drove as well as our 2020 Honda Accord Touring hybrid with 17” rims. So we sat down for discussion about numbers. They didn’t play ball so we moved on.

Next we went to IPAC Benson Mazda to see two on their lot. Both were already sold but was told there was 25 more in transit and that one met our desires. So we started negotiations. Within the hour we were told that the very vehicle just arrived and was being unloaded off the truck. So we got to see it and it was all still in the transport protection. Plus it had a build date of 12/25 so it was very fresh stock. Not over six months like the one we test drove before.
