I doubt this would work. The fuses are dead shorts using very short pieces of 'wire', thus have extremely tiny resistance. Even if 5A were going through a single fuse, I would (guess) the voltage across that tiny resistance is within the margin of error for a consumer multimeter.Good point about not pulling the fuses. I'll just place the probes across each fuse to get the millivolts.

You don't need a $500 meter for this.With a HIGHLY accurate meter the voltage drop across each fuse could be measured.
You're not going to be able to do this with a sub $100 meter.
I have a Fluke 45 Fluke 45 Dual Display Bench Multimeter ($495 that's the used price...)
This would do the job, but those cheapies won't.
Unplug the amplifier under the seat and see if that does something.I did measure the fuses in the engine compartment. When I pull out fuse #54, the draw plummets from 4.5A to 1.0A. The fuse is labeled as ROOM - for protection of various circuits. I'm guessing these are the fuses that go inside the car? Anyway to figure out what exactly it's for?
When I pull out fuse #44, the draw plummets to .1A. This fuse is labeled as BOSE - Bose Sound System-equipped model [Some Models].

Maybe it’s your Bluetooth module? Not sure if that is tied into the sound system. These were notorious for draining batteries in certain acuras.Thanks. I'll try it tonight.
Many (most) modern cars have the switch built in to the door latch. If the door is showing 'open' when it's closed, the latch is faulty.I can flip the visible door latch, but that doesn't turn off the open-door indicator on the dash. It looks like there is something else that's telling the car's computer that the door is open. On YouTube videos on other cars, there is usually a button on the door trim that needs to be depressed but there isn't anything like that on the CX-5.
