What have you done to your MSP today?

Finished an FSZE swap in a local MSP today and it wouldn't start. Swapped the crank pulley over and everything is connected and tight. Looks like we have to change the CKP sensor itself, I hope that does the trick. It sounds healthy it just turns over and doesn't fire.
Yea don't you also have to swap the cam gears or something too?

He had a ZE before and didn't have to swap the cams, I believe that is the 626 that they have to be swapped. Others that have done the swap didn't mention the cam gears either. Replaced the CKP today and it still won't start. Checked the cams and they turn. May have to pull the VC and check the cam gears, it's possible they are different.

Installed my Medieval V3 light crank pulley a couple days ago after putting it off for a while. Also replaced the AC clutch that fell off the compressor on 1574 so both cars have working AC and front defrosters now. 1574's rear defroster still doesn't work but I believe it's from the clipped black wires in the trunk that are supposed to go to a box mounted to the stock sub box bracket. It's hard to tell if 1345 is any quicker with the pulley because I swapped the RacingHarts and bald G Force tires on it so it just spins with any excessive throttle but it does seem to rev a little quicker.

For the first time in more than two years 1574 has the RB rear sway bar installed on it. One bracket was broken when I got the car so I removed it and ordered a new bracket and bushings but have been forgetting or putting it off. Finally had a chance to throw it on yesterday. I am considering trading 1574 for a black MSP that doesn't move. Owner thinks it's either the clutch or trans. It runs but won't go into gear. It's all stock and has 184k but if he is willing to throw ~2750-3k to me for my car I would trade. I have two bad transmissions in my garage so I can make one good trans from all the parts and throw a new clutch in it. Will probably end up selling it if I do get it and fix it due to the high mileage and the fact that I have never been a huge fan of black cars. Have really been thinking about a first gen speed 3 or a Mustang lately but I don't have room for it right now with both MSPs.

sorted through a box of old crap... anyone want a joeP FPR kit? still new in the bag. lol

How many in there even know what that is? lol

Yes I believe it's a one way valve that acts as a bleeder on the vac line for the FPR. I'm guessing it leans it out a bit but I am not certain. I attempted to make my own when I first got my MSP but it didn't work.

Merry Christmas to all and hope all are well out there! Santa brought my MSP new 12mm 5x114.3 Hubcentric Wheel Spacers to try something different from the Ichiba 10mm set I've been running for over 5-6 years now. Got a bunch of new tools & storage for Christmas so time to make some car repair & 'mod' like noises in the garage!

I haven't been on here in well......who knows how long. I'm bored and decided to log on just to see what's been going on with the MSP's left out there and who is still active on here...lol. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!

I've been enjoying the unseasonably warm (83* record high today) fuel-cut free weather today, was boosting 15 and it felt great. The car feels really fast, can't wait to have time to install the 440s and tune the fuel maps.
Got a new low profile jack and a battery jump box/air compressor. Bought myself a Steedspeed and low mileage turbo for Christmas but I have had them for about a month now. Need to install them both!

Tried to clean up my stock headlights with a mother's kit and a mini powerball thing but they still look terrible so I bought new headlights to swap the lenses. Already got one in the mail and swapped it out. Can't wait to have my old headlights back in, they were my favorite so far.

Just doing my normal check in.

Msp is still sitting. Waiting for me to finish my ms6. Bought a ms3 for the wife. 3 weeks later lost compression on cyl 2/3. Its almost back together. Then time for the ms6 motor.

Also acquired this for the msp about a month ago

Omg. Gemini hood

Shifter in my forged MSP got really sloppy last time I drove it and didn't want to go into some gears. Went on vacation to New Orleans and got back yesterday and had a chance to look at it. Turns out the shift stabilizer bar on the trans had come loose. Luckily the nut hadn't fallen off completely so I was able to just tighten it back down. Shifter feels like it is supposed to again.

hornsfan, is this something under the console or under the car? Sorry for the newbie question. A pic would be awesome.

edit: Is this what you're referring to?
