Mazda5 Wheel Fitment & Photo Guide

I have visited this forum to learn the do's and dont's from the postings and pictures. Key thing for me is the offset and its impact on the look & rubbing. Unfortunately, offset is rarely discussed elsewhere.

I hv now put on BBS SX 17x7.5 +42 on my Mazda5 and just thought of sharing the pictures below.

BBS makes more than just a mesh style wheel...

Following up on this post, x8.5 +45 & x9.5 +45 fits on 2011-2013 models with no fender work, depending on tire size. I got them to fit with a 215/35 and 225/35, and it barley clears my coilovers. The rim wont rub, but even with stretched tires, the tire will slightly rub on the inside, so you would need atleast a 5mm spacer on both front and back to be safe.

Do 20s fit in a Mazda 5 2014 grand touring?

Finally got a chance to put the wheels on. Here is my contribution. They are Enkei M52 18x8 +50 Offset

Nice. I'm actually more interested in your RallyArmor flaps. Did you get the universal ones and cut to fit?

Yep, those are the universal RA flaps w/ some plastic rivets. Only the rear require cutting.

Are the basic universals or the urethane ones? What cutting did you do on the rear? What holes did you mount them to, or did you drill your own? Lots of questions!

Those are just the $20 basic flaps. The rears just need some trim on the flaps to clear the muffler and the wheel arch liner which protruded the mounting face for the flap. I have reusing 2 hole on the front fender and drilled a couple which landed on the plastic liner. For the rear, all the holes are drilled on the liner as well. I wish I documented those when I did it last year.

Does anyone know if it's possible to run 9s up front without ridiculous camber? The wheels I'm looking at are 18x9 +50.

Looks pretty good, how about the econoline in the back ground?

I'm thinking about selling my Volks if anyone is interested; I'm going to 18".

So I'm going to be getting some ms3 gen 2 wheels what would be a good tire to put on? I'm also going to be putting on some ksport coilovers and corksport rear swaybar and camber kit so will have some play on how to go. I wanting to lower to it gets to fender, will I need to roll them or should I be fine? Any help is appreciated

Hi. I'm newbie with Mazdas and I have 7-seat 2008 diesel Mazda 5. I'm searching wheels to my car. I'd like to put 19" rims but is it possible to put rear axle 8,5x19 offset 35 and front 8,5x19 offset 45? Tire should be 235/35R19 rear and 225/35R19 (or 235/35R19) front. Do I have to roll fenders?
I'm gonna lower it with coilovers 2+ inches.
I'm from Finland so sorry my bad english, hope you understand. It seems that nobody knows anything about Mazda5 in Finland but luckily I found this forum

Hi, im new here,im driving mazda 5 7seater 2013 1.6diesel i want to fit rims 8x18 offset 47 and 9x18 offset 47 Tire i think 235/35 now i have stock 6.5x17 offset 52.5,stock suspension,will them rims fit without any problem??

Juppe you will have to roll your fenders with that tire size. May have to play with adjustable camber arms to get the tires tucked in nicely.

tompolak you will likely have to roll fenders as well. You might not have to if your van is not lowered but still run the risk of catching the rear tire on the fender over bumps.
