gas meter sucks!

So I went 43 miles before the first blip disappeared . I guess that's better. Mathematically I think each blip for the first 3 quarter of a tank should be 1.05gallons. Then last quarter gallon every 2 blips should be 1.05 gallons. But I doubt that's how it works.

I think the first half of the tank the blips include the gas you overfilled it with, as well as the reserve. The last 1/2 tank is more like a 1/4 tank on most gas gauges!!
