First full highway trip from the new 3 yielded 38.5 mpg with avg speed of 68 mph.

I also found that comparing the Veloster to the 3 is almost apples to apples. They both have the exact same size gas tank.

Mark,

Here are the fog lights that I bought for my MSM to replace the busted factory one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned)

In case you remain interested. They mount to the factory bracket, which then mounts to the inside of the bumper, so if your delete got rid of those brackets, you would have to re-find them again.
thanks mike!

excellent mileage chris!

Congrats To Chris H on MOTM !! Glad you were able to beat Herb, not that Herb car is bad but because it's soooo good.

Autoxed last Saturday and it was a blast. New location for me at an old airport. Tarmac was flat and grippy, new tires were great and the course was fast. Needed to shift into 3rd a few times.

Thanks Bruce.

One of the prizes is a shift boot. Since I don't need one, I would like to donate it to the raffle at The Glen. If you are attending, please post your make/model and desired leather and stitching color. I will make a tally and pick something that multiple people can put tickets in for.

So my roommate's compression tester was busted. I bought a new one at Sears, much higher quality with rubber padding. Mahk, your old engine has compression of 205-195-195-215. The busted compression reader said 90-90-100-100!

Since the busted compression reader read 115 on my blue P5's engine, it might actually have more compression than Mahk's, once I replace the busted head gasket! So I am going to put that one together first and cold-compression test it against Mark's. If mine is healthy, it will be less effort to swap over the turbo equipment than to actually swap engines.

Need to figure out side airbag fooling mechanism, anyone has ideas? How many ohms? My current seats have side air.

It appears that I'm going to be in y'all's (that's some advanced southern contraction for you) neck of the woods next month between the 7th & 18th. I'll be staying in Milford, MA, should have time to get together with folks in the evenings and probably that weekend. Anyone got anything fun? :D

I know, I looked at the schedule and was planning on throwing my helmet bag in as a carry on, then realized that the one on the 13th is a School. I was pretty stoked right until I realized it wasn't an event I could attend.

Installs work great, especially if Oleg's providing food and beer, I'll come get my hands dirty :D

All or any of that works for me. I'll bring some clothes I don't mind getting dirty just in case :)

Pretty good. Didn't work part of last week as they had no deliveries, hopefully that doesn't happen too often. I like the job better than the parts delivery I had last year. Drive further and get a good workout between drops.

Some good news folks. It looks like I'll be in the CT area (near where I used to live) for work. Preliminary schedule is the end of October until Mid-November.
