Is it Friday yet? Ugh....dying today and it's only Monday. Shouldn't complain though...1/2 day Thursday, Friday off and Monday off for Memorial Day.

Leaving here early Friday....thinking 5ish. Still have to print directions, IIRC it took me about 3.5hrs last year. What route are you taking? Last year I drove 78E/287N/87N.

That is one sweet RX7 for sure. I've been following his photo thread for some time. I'm glad he has a track photo thrown in there...it would be a shame for something that cool not to get time on the track where it can flex its muscle. Then again, I've got a photo of the REPU hooked up to the camper...a different kind of muscle

I assume that's 5am. Hmm, I guess that route is one option. I'd be on I80E over to 287N. 27 miles longer than a more direct route that is also shown to be ~3 minutes shorter (and on backroads I usually beat the estimated time by more than highway routes, so it is probably another ~5-10 minutes shorter than that), 209N/84E, crossing 87N at probably the same point you would be exiting onto 84E (unless you would be going up to rt44). If you were to take the same route, I'm not sure where you would be starting from, but you would probably take rt33 up to I80. Might be backtracking for you.
I guess with printing directions, sticking to main highways is probably safer though

Well got tired of waiting for State Farm to get off their arses so I called the shop today and told them to go ahead with the alignment when they were ready. Still have an hour before closing time so Karen could be home tonight!

Yes 5am. Makes much more sense to meet up with me going 33 to 80. What time were you planning on heading out? I was looking at arriving around 8ish. I printed out the 33/80/209/84 route that you are talking about. I don't own a GPS and want the paper directions on hand on the off chance I lose the signal to my phone. hahaha

In a few days my CX9 will have been on the road for 18 months. That is 1.5 years of time gone by where Mazda has not figured out how to make an iPod auto resume at start-up. My only saving grace is that it appears the issue is product-wide for 2014 models. tick-tock-tick-tock. I really don't want to dump a bunch of cash into an aftermarket head unit. I like all the features this one has (backup camera, bluetooth, iPod, Pandora, etc).
I am flexible on time, as long as we get there earlier enough for parade laps. 5am isn't a problem for me. If you are leaving your place around 5, I guess we would link up around 5:20-5:30. You can either give me a call, come directly to my place, or i can be waiting for you somewhere on the route. Whatever works easiest for you.
If waiting, I could easily be waiting on the 209 spur from rt 33, right on the Main St exit in Stroudsburg (quick on and off), or in the first parking lot on the right right off 80 on 209N
Yeah it's pretty miserable the lack of support they're showing with this problem. It's clearly a huge blemish on their 2014 models and I'm sure it's turning quite a few people away. Another NEM6er and I are looking into breaking into the software and improving it somehow, but it's a heck of an undertaking.
Doesn't look like I'll be making the trip out this weekend folks. Not sure I can convince the fiance to attend 3 car events in 4 weeks time haha. NEM6 has a couple meets coming up in preparation for the climb and I think she'll be all car-clubbed out by then XD
