The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I want to leave the group, but there are a few guys on there that are not on 247 that are cool. There are always bad apples in every group I guess, except here.

Anthony, if you keep the Miata maybe you should install a clutch cooler.

Are these Miata only parts?

You know what they say...if you don't know who the bad apple is, you are the bad apple

Aren't used tires about the same as a re-tread now a days? I thought only semis were able to re-tread. definitly scary

Not sure if semis are all that can use re-threads* but I know I wouldn't use them on a car. But somebody did a study on new verse re-thread* tires on semis, and the re-threads* actually held up longer and better then the new virgin rubber on new tires. So I guess it depends on who did them and what not.

Dang. Here I am rocking 185's for the winter. Granted a more narrow tire works better for cutting thru snow, but yea...
lol I had 175s on the 2/smart!

That is still being debated. Now that I have a plan for the Honda, I'd rather put the extra money into that, but transmission is definitely on my mind.
if you get rid of the 5spd, lemme know I may want it (back) :)

Mornin'
Hopefully today i'll have my emergency brake working again with the mazda6 rear calipers. It's routed a bit funny, but there's really only 1 tight bend that i don't like. It should work, and hopefully we'll see.
Yesterday found my sway bar bushings were devoid of all grease, and are wearing a bit. I don't want to spend money on new bushings just so i can smash them on my subframe again with the MSP's horseshoe brackets (that don't fit on the sedan subframe -_- ) so back on they go: I'm ready for a noisy suspension.

We should be getting some relatively nice weather for the next couple days, somewhere in the 70's and no rain...

I would like some Menchies with you guys. Especially if Jess's Miata will be there.

sold another part, slowly building up the savings. Tempted to put the MSP on craigslist as is but not sure I want to deal with the crazies.

Chilly morning, it's football weather.

Yay menchies. I will likely be trying to get temp tags today and then working on putting the body pieces on the car and making skid plates and data logging this week. I will try and make it to menchies for sure.
