that is some bad lucky.. how did it snap off and what did you do to fix it?

Also what brakes did you go with? I'm looking to change mine once again as my front passenger brakes creak when coming to a stop. I might go with OEM brakes but they are pricey, 50~ per rotor and 110 for brake pads. But i have rear drums so i don't have to do those yet.

Snapped off while trying to unscrew it. My original plan was to change the pads only. Ended up changing front pads, rotors and calipers.

Umm i got ATE ventilated disks. Hawk semi metallic pads and oem caliper.
Got everything at a a good price cause i gave s*** to the manager at canadiantire cause they gave me the wrong parts twice....

Got the pads for 50$, disks for 65$ and calipers for 110$.

sounds like a pretty good deal, did you have to get new calipers because the bolt snapped or you just needed a new one? Did you get the caliper from Mazda and how much? I might need one for the passenger side :(

You can pick them up at local parts store. If you replace calipers it recremended that you do both. And either buy one with bracket or at least buy hardware kit for it!

And Civi this wheel look dang good up close! I change my vote. I say leave them! :)

I don't know if they deliver up there but Rockauto.com is a great web site that offers cheap prices on parts

Looking good man. Do you happen to have the part numbers for everything?

I had to get a new caliper cause there were no way in hell that we could remove the 2 broken pieces. We tried everything and it wouldnt move. Yes i did get both calipers for 110$ and i got everything from canadian tire.

And no sorry i dont have any part numbers. And it doesnt say anything on my bill either.

Did some more carbon fiber wrapping in my spare time :P

Haha thanks bro.
I did the interior parts cause the factory "carbon fiber" was just horrible :P

Thanks! I used a plastic thingie that looks like a knife to not scratch anything. I gently pried it off from the bottom. I would suggest to start from the rear end of the cover (the larger side), it comes out easier. Its fairly easy to do, theres like 2 clips holding it in place.

Thanks. You wouldn't happen to know how to get the rear door handles off? The front ones have screws but I see none on the rears -__-

grab the rear handles and twist and pull at the same time. the tiny cover pops right off as its 2 pieces similar to the front. behind them is the screws to undo to take the panel off.

You have to depress a small metal piece first. If you look under the handle you will see a little slot for a flathead. Put it in there and push up, then pull the handle out.
