CiviCity Student Budget Build

Here is the picture of the problem im having. this is for the right side only but im having problems on the left side too. except the left side doesnt make any noise anymore going over bumps or hitting nasty potholes. i belive i need longer endlinks? to prevent the bar coming up and hitting the other bar? lol

you sway bars should be parallel with the ground when the car is sitting with weight on the wheels, based on the picture you need longer links to stop the binding in your suspension.

do they make longer endlinks for a 99 ES? and if so where could i buy em cuz im hating the noises big time when i hit a pothole or go over bumps, thanks.

1999-2000 have shorter front endlinks than the post-refresh models, but share the same rear endlinks.
All 2001-2003 use the same front endlinks (MP3 and MSP included)
Rear MSP endlinks are the same as the 1999-2000 front endlinks.
When upgrading to the Racing Beat (MSP/MP3) rear sway bar, make sure to use MSP rear endlinks

AWR - front and rear. They are adjustable so they fit pretty much any sway bar you can throw at them. They do make a LOT of noise though, be warned.

UPDATE:

99-00: Fronts: 7.5", Rears: 8"
01-03: Fronts:10.5", Rears: 6"
MP3 + MSP Fronts: 10.5", Rears 8"

looks to me that you need the 01-03 front links.

okay what i got of this info is....my car front endlinks are 7.5 inches long right, so i would need longer front endlinks, which the 01-03 proteges have 10.5 inches, will the 01-03 front endlinks work then? because i dont want any noise(which you said that the adjustable ones do). i dont have any problem with the rear ones. only the front. thanks alot for your info. :D

That's good news, you should post new pics of it settling.

I got a question for you, when you installed your msp spoiler was it 4 holes in total? Did you use the marking on the inside of the trunk to drill? (There's like 4 small indents on the inside of the trunk). That's pretty much where mine are drilled so I'm hoping the msp spoiler is a straight bolt on with my regular sedan spoiler
In total it was 5 holes. 2 screws on each side which i did use the marking inside of the trunk to drill on. And you need to drill another hole on the driver side to pass the break light wire. I think i used a 1/4 drill bit.

Yes exactly, you will need 01-03 front end links. So the 10.5 inches ones.

My newest arrival :) That thing is super sweet! Thanks to Alex (ScratchNSniff)

And yeah, i cant go in my driveway facing backwards anymore.. lol

Ill get more clear pictures tomorrow in the daylight

thanks man! Hopefully the spoiler fits with my existing holes, might need to drill one more hole for the wires, i forgot if i drilled 4 or 5 holes before.

btw the roof spoiler looks awesome, finally some proper close up pics with different angles of it.

As far as the end link issue I would get 2002 Ford escape front end links. They are thicker than Mazda ones, plus half the price and they are moog so lifetime warranty, a great option I'm glad I went with!

Sweet!! Your protege looks sick with the racing harts. I picked up a set last weekend but I need to complete my 5 lug swap before the install. Keep up the good work :)

Looks good! Got my rear window visor on today as well. We both have the visor/03.5 wing combo.

I know I've said this before but I want that front lip so bad! Mine would almost be that close to the ground normally haha.

you've seen mine with stock spoiler on facebook with JDM323 plates, I bought the titanium MSP wing off ScratchNsniff for it

Man thanks for your help!!! Love mazdas247.com :D. I went ahead and got the ford escape end links which are 10.5 inches. and it got rid of my problem :D thanks so much for the help, its well appreciated.
