The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

A tire balancer and mounting machine are pretty easy to use. The biggest part is taking your time and not f*&^ing up the wheel surface. There really isn't much to it for the balancer. Mount the wheel on the machine, lock it down, follow the directions on the screen and put the weight where it tells you to. The mounting machine on the other hand can be a b**** depending on what size of tire you are using. Some machines are better with lower profile tire than others. Take the valve stem out, depress both sides of the tires to break the bead off the wheel, center mount on the clamps and your half way there. The swing are for the top is the hardest part usually it is easier to take a wheel off than it is to put a wheel on. Just make sure you lube the s*** out of the center of the tire with soapy water. This is where low profile tires can be a b****. They don't have as much play as the taller sidewall tires.

I'm not sure. Here's a pic of the balancer.

And I already called dibs on this Miller welder and the extra long handled toilet brush. Muhaha

But like I said, I'm not getting my hopes up.

edit- Wes just confirmed it's a stick welder. Nevermind. Do not want.

Well let me check it out and such first. I could just be getting my hopes up for nothing anyway. But if you're sure about that offer that would be awesome too, Will. I'm sure you and your dad will get a lot of use out of it too.

It'd be no problem we have plenty of space. I'd be willing to chip in on this too. Between my Dad and I'd say we get 3-4 sets of tires mounted and balanced a year.

I see a tire machine, center post. They come in handy for wider wheels, I found that sometimes it is easier to turn the wheel over and then put the tire on depending on the shape of the wheel. It's hard to explain in type.

Speaking of license plates...

Because that's how I drive.

anyone know anyone that is near Ann Arbor? I need a set of wheels picked up before 5:30 today or else they get sold to the next person. I want them bad but I won't be able to get out of work early enough to get there in time. I will compensate for any gas or time spent.

Bwahaha! Will, that's awesome.

Patrick, hit up AJKulish. He's up in Detroit. If he's not busy being a frat guy I'm sure he would be willing to help out.

Or hit up the Michigan thread.

I clicked the Michigan thread and there were three threads... didn't give me much hope lol. But i'll pm him and see if he is available thanks

What about rockin03p5 (i think thats right)? He is in Michigan, maybe he can help you out.

I just posted in the Michigan section. So hopefully someone will speak up. I don't want to pm a ton of people then tell them I don't need them anymore lol

The Michigan thread is usually dead space. If I didn't have school and work today I would have for you or if you would have posted it yesterday it would have been perfect. I'm only about 1 hr away from there.

DANG... he didn't get back to me till today. there is a lot of interest so he said get them today or they are on to the next person.

ok, ill explain it this way, most physique competitors are a bit more "normal" looking most of the year, then when it comes time to show prep they cut out a buch of stuff from the diet and the last week before the show are so dehydrated that they looked ripped to hell... i can bet that girl doesnt look like the pic on the right year round, that was def. "show shape"

Understood and why I said she looked better, to me, in the pic on the left.

I hate the new plates....I wish they would have sometning more creative than the red, white and blue crap with all of the writing on the new plates.....Ohio plates are boring...I really don't like this design either, just went with the lesser of two evils.....

What other plates do they have Marlon, ie: Reds? I'm with you guys though, I hate the PA plates!

And how long before someone complains about the new plates becasue the print in the background includes "God"? I'm sure that will offend someone and they'll refuse to place the plate on their car.

I haven't decided yet but, my plate choices for the MSP this fall are between:
MAYHEM -Buhahaha
BLSDEEP - Because that how I do lol
U JELLY - I like this

Ohioans are weird about that kinda stuff, it's the state motto so for some reason people don't seem mind when it's in something like that.
