yup you can get 18x8.5 +33 on 225 40's in the back with link kit :)

this is 18x8.5 +30 on 225 40's - it could use a little more camber and a slight more drop in the rear but with link kit you will have tons of flexibility

i would like 235/40 in the back when i get later links since it staggered and i thought so that i would be fine in the front with 225/40

What tire size combo would you run if they were ur wheels

18's are a bit big for Proteges IMO, but some people do pull it off well... 215/35/18 is the same as stock tire size, so with a 235, you would need a super low profile to be at or under that, otherwise you will rub at not so low a height...

Are you running 8.5 all around

yup 8.5 all around - if you want to run a meaty tire go with 17s - 18s are big on pros and only work with low profile - my .02 havin run a number of different 18s and will be downsizing to 17s for final fitment

I don't mind running a low profile tire for daily driving I just want width at least I'm not going for the stretched looked
