The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I went under for my wisdom teeth as well. Was groggy as hell when I woke up, all I remember was feeling like I was asleep for 2 days and trying to get in the wrong car. I never got sick though.

I was out when I had my wisdom teeth out too. Coming out groggy was weird but when they turned on, WOW did it feel awesome! (lol2)

haha....I don't remember waking up or the walk to the car or into the apt....only waking up on the couch with a mouthful of bloody gauze. My wife could tell you some interesting stories about how I acted....I don't remember so it never happened. ;)

When I went under for my wisdom teeth, I wouldn't wake up. ******* sucked.

If you weren't awake, how do you know it sucked? jk Going under is some scary s***, I've only done it once but Tam has been under quite a few and I'm always nervous as hell until they tell me I can see her.

Because of my bad relationship with the anesthesia, I didn't get put under for my wisdom teeth. I was awake the whole time, they just used localized numbing crap. I could feel and hear the teeth shattering. The bottom ones came out in 4 pieces. Yay!

BTW, redheads require more anesthesia.

Damn, think I would have just walked out, down to the nearest bar, got drunk and stumbled back to the dentist office! I hate going to the dentist as it is so going under was the only way I was getting it done...two of mine were impacted.

Speaking of, I'm trying to get my kids dentist to accept me as a patient. He's a pediatric dentist so there is an age cutoff...that has to be illegal somehow, right? lol Anyway, Kaila had a cavity filled before Christmas and the dude has a water laser....no numbing gel, no novacane, no drilling!!! She was in/out of the seat in 15 minutes!!!

I have asthma so I can't go under. I was lucky enough to get my wisdom teeth out when I was like 17 before they even started coming in. I did get Nitrous Oxide and localized numbing. I was on cloud 9 and it felt like a dream. I couldn't feel any pain, just some pressure randomly.

True? or are you yankin my chain being that I must be naive
No I'm serious. There have been studies done. Google it! I also had heard redheads have a greater chance of not waking up ... Not sure if that is because they need more anesthesia or what.

It's because gingers lack souls.

It's true. South Park told me.

I'll be in Columbus...

Here's a tip, if you ever own 2 properties, never ever put them on the same mortgage unless they are connected. Especially if you want/need to sell one of them.
