Got back last night from 3 days in San Francisco for my company's annual meeting. Executives announced that we have begun the IPO process so it was more of a celebration than a meeting. I've been with the company for 4 years. My coworkers are very spread out so we rarely see each other in person. Plus we were acquired last January so there were about 350 new people to meet. To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to going. Some of the presentations were extremely boring, especially since I don't know a lot about the other products our company sells. The schedule was packed from getting on the bus at the hotel at 7:00am to finally getting back around 9:30. However, they made up for it by having great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...and an open bar. Let me tell you, open bar makes it all work. I had a great time, as did everyone else.

Whats up NEMOCers?? So last night I couldnt sleep due to a tooth that has been bothering me for a couple weeks. So I had that pulled today. Now, NOW I CANT SLEEP DUE TO the drugs they put me on for the pain! CANT FRIGGEN WIN!

Thanks Jeff, was passing thru your way this week. Wished we could've stopped by.

So we are finally at our destination. 11 days and 2300 miles later, it was good to finally park the rig for 3 months. Place is in Perdido Key and is very nice. we are on the inland water way and just have to walk across the road and a nice very long beach is there. A 2 min walk down the road is Alabama. Very weird.

Mia seemed to do well in her travels, she is very dirty but seems unharmed so far. Can't wait to drive her today. Today is cleanup day, rig, car, etc. Was a balmy 85 yesterday, I was sweating like crazy. Met some very nice people, spent the evening drinking and talking. These accents are going to take some getting used too.

Was that due to an accident Mark or is that an everyday commute?

who knows...every other day it's a long trip...should take me less than an hour at 5:45am...the volume has picked up too

doing 42 miles each way. if im lucky ill get it in 45-50min, way home will usually be 55-60. if its raining though, forget it....

Happy Friday NEMOCers!! Whats everyone up to this weekend? We have one final game for our 2nd/3rd grade team, then in two weeks, 5 of our boys from the 6th grade team with be playing in the Central Mass all star game. My son Kyle being the only 4th grader in Massachusetts to play at the 6th grade level was selected for the 4th grade all stars!! WOOT WOOT!! Proud dad moment!!

Having a blast here. Mid 80's, trying to get used to it. Cleaned the car today and went for a quick drive. Walked on the beach last nite and talked with some old timers. Lol, they make me feel youg.

Is that storm going to it MA??

It looks like we're getting hit with something. The only question is how bad it will be. Weather reports say it could be a lot worse than last year's SnowTober that left most of the region without power for days. I purchased a generator and have an installer coming on wednesday (hopefully). Had I known I would have scheduled it sooner. I left him a message to make sure he was still coming.

Made a very short video this morning while out riding just using the iPhone. It takes a while to set up shots. I was hoping for at least 2 minutes of footage but it ended up just being 1 minute. I really do have to get a GoPro or nicer camera before I put the effort into something longer.

Cleaned Mia yesterday. Got most of the road crap off. Thanks for the tape job Mark, it held up fine and saved the paint underneath. Was fun driving the car yesterday, feels like a 500hp machine after the MH.

Need to clean the MH inside and out today. Temps are a little cooler today so that will help me.
