What do you mean they are yellow? They don't have a white color to it? And did u test the highbeam function on the bulb? Mine are coming in tomorrow.

Yesterday i got the led kit with decoder in white from ijdmtoy (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Daytime-Running-Light-For-Lexus-IS-GS-SC-p/led_sku45_r4.htm)and i was trying to install it. I got everything in with decoders and when i put it in D to test it, only like 10 leds would light up and it was super dim. Then when i go to flash the highbeams ALL THE LEDS TURN ON AND THEY ARE SUPER BRIGHT! The decoder is supposed to make all the LEDS turn super bright when i put it in D right with no high beam function. I think there is a problem with the decoders they sent me because clearly the LED's aren't the problem because they would all light up. What do you think? Did u have this problem when you were installing the DRL's?

i dont have this kit, but it sounds like the decoders aren't right, they must be setup for whatever the lexus uses for voltages and not the cx5 the 5's voltage might be so low that the step up transformer can't put out 12v (they're usually very specific about input voltages)
you may want to get someone with a multi-meter and have them ramp out the contacts and see what the voltages are in drl mode and tell jdm toys that, they can maybe find the right decoders for you
But akira and some other people are using the same kit with the same decoders and they haven't had any problems. I bought this kit because other members in this forum said they work perfectly.

i didn't think akira got decoders because he had tech package like myself, the kit i bought had decoders available but was just bulbs
was under impression it was same one he got
my bad, it was kimchei, not akira, i was getting them confused

regardless, i'd still check out what the voltages are and tell jdm and see what they say, might be a better option available?

jdmtoy has them, i'm fairly happy with mine, they were better than the amazon ones, but still not quite as bright as i was hoping for but they'll do
yeah they dont have the exact sizes, look for my post that links to the superbrightled pages for the various festoons i used, be warned, the ones for the map lights are insanely bright almost too bright to use at night while driving so may want to consider stepping down a model on those

yes, if you look back in the thread, i have a post with all the links, and the ones i got from superbrightleds are 31mm
Got the corksport LEDs in my car, they look great and all came in one package, Map lights front and back, visor lights, cargo light and license plate lights. Got some pictures if anyone is curious.
Only issue if you can call it that is that they flicker when the doors close and the lights 'dim'

np, but be warned, the ones i got, the hp's are insanely bright, almost too bright to use while driving at night, so i'm contemplating installing a couple surface mount blue leds inside the light assembly with their own switch in the console for when just needing some light to find something quick
the map lights are blinding lol

i installed the CorkSport LED package that came, pics to come after tonight...one problem though that i'm going to talk to corksport about, the backseat map lights do not fit properly. The board for the 4 LEDs is too long to fit between the 2 leads and still lay flat for brightest angle. When installing, one of the leads popped up and i saw a small spark...taking it up to mazda tomorrow to see how much it is to fix this lead. (sad2)
