What have you done to your P5 today?

Was thinking of getting mine back and driving around in it again. Dad needs it to get out of his way.
 
installed escape front endlinks!

changed brake fluid, power steering fluid, tranny fluid, got my bent rim fixed. Feeling productive!

Cam I like the original with the wheels in the outline better also :/
 
tinted my taillights, front blinkers and wired in my headunit
was a good day. =]
all im missing I feel are the Racinghart rims, a drop and a tint =]
 
Took the P5 up north for some camping this weekend, it was so much fun on the twisty roads and hills. I even got it a bit sideways on some gravel roads :D
 
Changed my main o2 sensor. 40 miles in still no code. Got paint for my new bumper and for parts that ate faded to get painted. Scored a cat-less midpipe that I been looking for.
 
Tried to find where I was hitting/popping in the suspension this morning and couldn't figure it out. I need a full-car suspension dyno or something
 
My alternator belt has a rip at the edge of the belt. Most likely reason of the chirping and rubber smell. Seems like it is misaligned and over tightened. I'm having trouble loosening the belt tension.

I removed the 2 bolts but no luck. (bolt A and C). What else do I have to remove in order to loosen the belt tension a little?

cleaned her out was messy inside. now dreaming of upgrading the stereo and speakers... any one have suggestions on a good speaker for the rear? im getting mixed reviews on all the ones im looking at.

Should not have removed any bolts! You need to loosen B and A and then use C to rotate/pivot teh alternator
 
^^^ Bingo. Hope you didn't mess up the threads for the tension arm.

Dropped the front subframe with Fishy to swap out the front sway. It was super easy. Just waiting on the Energy Suspension bushings to get her so I can button everything back up.

Told you it would be easy! Did you have a chance to peak under the fender liner for that rust spot while you were under there?


Today I grinded and painted an old set of spring seats in anticipation of getting my new struts and mounts.

Holy crap they were rusty! Keep in mind that the rust is all gone, that dimpling you see is what's left of the actual metal.

You mean P0421, right? If so, then yes, it's because you need to try the non-fouler trick.

That could be either bad ignition coils or a failing EGR valve. How's your idle?

Ya not a 2 a 1 lol.

Egr was replaced with a low miles one and cleaned .. idle looks good so idk ah this car us driving me crazy ..
