just buttoning up my turbo build on the P5, should be in in hopefully less than a month. its gotta be done by Mazdafest!
Was thinking of getting mine back and driving around in it again. Dad needs it to get out of his way.
My alternator belt has a rip at the edge of the belt. Most likely reason of the chirping and rubber smell. Seems like it is misaligned and over tightened. I'm having trouble loosening the belt tension.
I removed the 2 bolts but no luck. (bolt A and C). What else do I have to remove in order to loosen the belt tension a little?

^^^ Bingo. Hope you didn't mess up the threads for the tension arm.
Dropped the front subframe with Fishy to swap out the front sway. It was super easy. Just waiting on the Energy Suspension bushings to get her so I can button everything back up.

You mean P0421, right? If so, then yes, it's because you need to try the non-fouler trick.

That could be either bad ignition coils or a failing EGR valve. How's your idle?
