I am sure a lot of you guys have seen my car, and on the back windows is a sticker that says OhioRides.org. This used to be the car club I used to help run from 2002 to 2007.

Well, one of the original members and a good friend of mine decided he wanted to resurrect the site since a lot of us have become good friends and made a lot of great memories because of this site. Hell, the core group of four of us were in each others weddings throughout the years.

What's different about this site is that it allows people who love the automobile to come together and talk about different cars, from front-wheel drive tuners to rear drive muscle cars. All from Ohio, so you may meet someone new in your neck of the woods.

The reason I am posting is because I want to help the site grow and be better than it was, and I know a lot of you can provide a lot of insight and knowledge of Mazdas, track days, meets, etc. to others in the state. I think it would be pretty cool to have a bunch of Mazda guys parked next to a bunch of old-school muscle and everyone getting along without all the BS that normally happens. .

Now, I'm not asking you to give up what we have all built here. Absolutely not. I love this section a lot. This is simply an invite to you all to check out a new and different venue that is open to a larger audience. So I definitely suggest checking it out. I tried a "universal" forum like that a few years ago, ohiocustoms.com I believe, and I didn't care for it. Seems like a good, friendly concept, but when you sit there and see neon's and avengers and explorers and all kinds of horrible cars all riced out while everyone replies "wow, looks good! Love your car! Blah blah blah", it was hard for me to keep my negative opinions to myself. LOL So I got harpooned a lot for sharing my opinion on an internet forum (god forbid) because it wasn't like everyone else's and never went back.
