The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Thanks! 2nd gen wheels. It has a semi-long mod list with quality, tasteful mods that I planned on doing anyway. It feels amazing to drive it.

Nice! Is that the one that was for sale on here not too long ago? Guy took immaculate care of it, 20-something piece clear bra on the front, etc.?

It sure is! His name is Tom. His username is spdjnke. Pictures do not do this car justice at all.

Awesome! I saw that car when it was for sale. Seemed really REALLY nice in the thread. Decent price too, as far as buying a tastefully modded car for stock KBB price (and you may have gotten it even cheaper). Condition is everything...it really shows when a seller took care of the car to THAT extent.

You bought a modded car.

God help your soul.

Yea yea yea. I never thought I would buy a modded car but if you saw the car in person and met the owner, you would understand why I did.

Like I said, pictures do not do it justice. The car is immaculate. The guy is OCD as hell and I'm kind of worried that I won't be able to take care of it like he did lol.

Looks good bro. You and your white wagons.

Haha I had to keep it going. I don't know what it is about them but the white is perfect for me.

Same situation with my car as well. Never in a million years would I have considered buying a modded car, but after all the conversations with the previous owner of my car, the pictures, and the deal I was getting, I felt comfortable with the buy. There were a few hiccups and headaches in the beginning, but I still came out miles ahead.

Eh, it's your car now, do as you wish!

I joked with the guy I bought mine from. 100% rust free from Nashville, and I'm going to molest it with salty winter roads and 130lbs worth of Boxers! hahaha

Whats going all, its been a while. Been busy with work and family vacation. I did get some new toys for my B-day this past week, My Koni shocks and Eibach springs finally came in. Does anyone in Columbus have experience installing this on a MS3?

I'm going through some of the pictures and videos I took from this weekend at Nelson Ledges.

One of the Boxsters in the A group got it wrong in the carousel. Both the driver and the instructor were OK. I heard it rolled 3-4 times.

Seems like a big driver error!!! glad they're ok!!! Damn!

Wow that's insane! Was that an actual race, or was it just a track day for fun? Glad they're ok though, too bad for the car.

It was just a track day with PCA. Yeah it was pretty serious. Prior to that I had never seen a red flag thrown on a session.

We had 2 red flags at our Nelson Ledges track day on 6/12. One was an SS Cobalt and the other was a 1-Series BMW. The BMW's airbags deployed and they couldn't get it started again (probably due to the airbags) so they had to put it on a flatbed. Both took up a good chunk of time out of our sessions, they even held a quick driver's meeting for everyone telling us to slow down, it's not a race! lol

That's crazy. Nelson isn't the place where I'm pushing. Too many really bad places to go off.
