Let's see some Mazda3 5-doors

WOW!! You change cars like I change my ... no, less often than that, but a lot!! I'm still driving the '04 I bought in...*GASP* '04!! :D
I wanted a roof so badly when I bought mine too, but it didn't happen.
I grew up and lived in eastern Pa and owned a VW Golf for a while w/a roof. Of course it was metal, not glass, but I still had it open even in the middle of winter, as long as the weather wasn't too bad i.e. snowing. I get cold easily too, but I didn't care. I wore a hat and gloves and was good to go. 'Loved the roof and I miss having one.

I know the feeling. my 87 golf had one and i drove with it open all the time while i was living in germany.

You posted two different generations of lips. If you have an 06 hatch the only option for you is the 2nd one.

I should rephrase that.. That is not your ONLY option, you can choose a different lip from japanparts.com and pay a ridiculous amount or you can go with the GV replica from nextmod.com and use the savings to paint the lip. There are a few options out there for the 04-06 bumper.

I personally have the GV lip.

That looks great! IMO it looks like really fragile...I'm using the classic HD lip atm, i'll post some pictures up asap! Your wheels are SICK! Have you tried a TEAL rim paint yet?
I think these would compliment the beauty of your car!

Marcio (DangerMouse on M3F) has candy teal wheels.

I would like to remove the side moldings, just not sure about sun fade. 6+ year old car. Also, some days I like the look of them and other days I don't..

Yea those look nice!

I JUST removed mine recently...it's an 06.. black mica...I thought it would have sun fade also! There are no visible lines or anything! I didn't even use goo gone!!! Windex works! Your car is blue also so I don't think it would show as much as it would on black.

I like your spoiler btw.... I wish I could afford aftermarket cosmetic parts! :/

Even though some say that when they took off their side moldings... no line showed up.. be prepared becuase i thought that sense mine was white that i wouldnt have a line but i did... I used my thumb to get the adhesive off and used a type of goo be gone to get the remaining crap off... I used a wash wax then polish wax then waxed my car and you can hardly tell they were ever there.. i have heard though that darker cars it takes longer to fade but just read around on other peoples experience. It was all worth it in the end.

i didnt have any issue when i took mine off... the car was 4 years old when i did it, slight difference but after a good wash, claybar, and wax youd never know where they were

i love dangermouse's car but i cant copy marcio, thats his own thing... i did debate between teal and orange and the orange won out... i love it
glad to see teal looks amazing on a black car as well but im happy with the orange haha

oh and regarding the lip, its actually pretty sturdy... i think its all dependent on how well its mounted

I really like your orange too! Did you DIY paint or get the powdercoated?

Question also: Anyone have a spare catback exhaust for sale? ( New jersey area ) :p
