re-adjusting the rear swaybar. Other than that I purchased some Falken tires off of vulcantire.com. Great deal, low shipping cost, and they had a $30 instant rebate. Score! Can't wait to but them on next week.

Also found out that Best Buy will recycle old tvs (27" and under) and pc monitors. You pay $10ea but get a $10 gift card....better than shelling out $23 for both to the township for which I'd get nothing.

So my boss told me to take today off because I was out of country for 3 weeks plus I didn't get home until 2am.

So here is a quick recount from my departure of Canada:

-Leave the hotel around 10am to get to the flight... Hotel printer is out of ink and I can't get a receipt for my travel claim.
-Get to the airport, pull the bag out of the trunk and one of the wheels snaps off.
-Relatively easy way through check-in, customs, etc... Until I get to the US Customs part... The dude asked me if I have anything to declare or things I bought. My response: "Nope, everything here is too damned expensive." I made him laugh and was waived on through.
-Get off the plane in Atlanta to find my bag was the ONLY one on not to get on the plane. It was delivered today (more below).
-Went to start the MS6 which has been sitting for 3 weeks and the battery is dead... I mean so dead the dome lights wouldn't come on and locks wouldn't work.
-I get the car jumped and I have to take my friend home (30 mins out of the way) because his ride forgot it was last night and went drinking for St. Patty's Day.
-I got my luggage today to see a pamphlet inside saying my luggage was randomly searched according to TSA blah blah blah. I find my work laptop all misplaced inside.. Screen is cracked.


Did I mention I had today off?

(Before anyone else jumps my s***.... Yes, I had the laptop in a hard style case for protection, but it was taken out by TSA and not replaced.)

and then leaving for the Nascar Race at Bristol tomorrow (yea go ahead and flame on, but bi got the chance to go to a race and ive never been so why not atleast do it once right? haha)

Wow, that sucks. While I'm no stranger to travel, I've never had that kind of experience... but I know how un fun it can be sometimes. That totally sucks about the laptop. TSA personnel have some kind of punishment waiting for them in the afterlife, I tell you...

yep. No rusty bolts yet, but I did snap a couple of trim peices. so far I've only done the rear strut tower bar and added speakers to the rear deck only to realize the right side isn't working. I'm guessing just a loose wire in the head unit connection. I need to remove the middle seat belt cause of the tower bar, not sure how I'm gonna do that yet.

moved the seat belt, that was really easy, but found a lake where my jack was in the trunk.

TGIF! So any big plans for the weekend?

My son has a playoff bball game at 9am tomorrow. We drew a 14 seed out of 16 teams (finished at 9-3!) and have to play the 3 seed which only had two losses but scored an avg of 30+ points per game.

Sunday is my niece Haley's baptism (I'm the godfather ) and right after is the party along with my other niece Carly's second bday party (I'm her godfather too ).

thanks for the heads up on Best Buy! I tried to sell my old beast of a monitor at a yard sale for $10 or b/o ... no takers. at least i know where i can take it AND get my $10 out of it ... ha ha

just looked it up out of curiosity ~ in oHIo it costs $10 to recycle it, but they do give you a $10 gc back ... so technically it's 'free' recycling ... so since i'm technically not making any money on the deal ~ i'll look into donating it ...
