MS3 Owners: Show us your wheels

wheels look hot! looks like you are on stock suspension with no fender roll...? any rubbing with the 235s? my axis halos have the same specs but i have 225s and a fender roll with a lowered suspension. don't think i could squeeze 235s under there without rubbing.

Im actually on H&R Coilovers, the only reason for it to be so high is because I did all the work when I went home on leave and did not had time to roll my rear fenders so I left it on as high as I could in the mean time, but I will be rolling my fenders as soon as I get home in the summer, and I wouldnt be able to have the 8.5 +45 offset with the stock suspension, the oem spring base plate is so wide it would had rub on top of the tire everytime it compress.

Oh by the way your ride looks sick on those white wheels!!!

Only issue I have with them (for me) they're too aggressive and I'd worry about rubbing. Plus the TRMotorsports C2's are kind of near and dear to my heart at the moment.

Mine on Konig Milligrams Gold 18x8.5 +45 on Conti Contact DWS 235/40/18
They look good!! But how are you liking the tires?

I put a set on my wife's Vibe a while back and after that couldn't wait to get a set on my 3. I'm running 225/45-17's on 17x7 +50's, lowered on H&R springs w/no issues.
I don't think they would be the winning factor on track day, but for a DD tire I LOVE 'em. Best wet/light snow traction I have EVER gotten w/this car after 4 sets!! Now to see how well they hold up.
If I can get 25-30k out of 'em, I'm going back for more. I've only ever managed to get around 20k out of a set on this car. That gets old after a while.

I havent put enough miles on the tires yet, but so for I like them, between the change from 7.5 to 8.5 width, the tires and the suspension the torque steer went away it only wants to go forward not left and right, and on the rain I was worry that the width addition was gonna make the car hydroplane but no it doesnt at all it feels more planted to the ground, I managed to pull around 30K out of the OEM tires, I dont do many burn outs or auto X for that matter so I guess as long as I rotate and keep alligned I dont see why wouldnt I get 30K again

So Im sitting on 3 MS6 wheels but currently have a MS3. Does anyone have a side shot of a MS3 on MS6 wheels? im thinking about finding a 4th wheel and PCing them gold, just need the side view so I can photoshop the gold color on'em

the MS6 wheels look good, only thing is that they have the same unfortunate specs as the stock MS3 wheels.

17's look wrong on the MS3... even the reg hatch models look better, more correct w/18's. I only stayed w/17's out of cost, ride and weight considerations.

I don't know, I think 17s look better than 18s if they're accompanied with a beefy tire.

^i completely agree. just cause you can go "hella flush" doesnt mean it should be done. 17s with taller rubber not only provides a better ride, but that purposeful look makes so much more sense, and thus looks way better i think

Hey Lara, what lip is that on the 2nd MS3 in the first picture?

Tiger, that's some serious meat on those wheels in the 2nd picture.......Also, where did you get that front mustache without the holes for the license plate? My local dealer wants $40 for that piece but I could have worn that I've seen it for cheaper on here. Someone posted a link to some place online that was selling for like $23

That is the old lip I had on my car. I have no idea what brand it was, I got it off a guy in Japan. I sold the lip last fall. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I forgot. I got it from Mazda with the motorsport discount. lol. Actually, the plate isn't even on yet. You just can't see the holes clearly in those pics. When the plate was removed, I pushed the part that stuck out and tried to cover most of the hole. Maybe that's why.
