MS3 Owners: Show us your wheels

225's? That's too narrow. lol. Yeah, they 255's on 17x9.

They rub only when there are passengers in the rear, other than that, not bad at all.

The same for me with 245/45/17 at 17x8 rims. I rub only when more then 2 in the rear. I will roll my rear fenders this spring and hope rubbing will completely go away.

Looks awesome Mack. I assume you had to roll the fenders pretty aggressively to ensure no rubbing?

I have the same '08 Silver MS3 as you, and was looking to buy the same exact wheels.
However, I was debating between 18", or dropping down to 17".
Have you had any rubbing issues with the 18" wheels after you dropped the car?

Anyone running TRMotorsports C2's? That's a trick question, because I know the answer is yes. I just want to see a photo with the car sitting. Not in motion on a track.

Hey Tiger, are you running spacers or anything. What is the offset of the rims? I am looking into getting some 17x9s myself but I am thinking getting a +30 offset or less and throwing on spacers if necessary.

+30 would be WAY too much. Hell, +40 on a 17x9 would be aggressive, as well. I'm looking at 18x8 with a +48mm offset. We don't have a lot of room under there.

Is anyone running 17x8 w/a 32mm offset?

17's look wrong on the MS3... even the reg hatch models look better, more correct w/18's. I only stayed w/17's out of cost, ride and weight considerations.
And running a +32 on a DD would be insane, imo, considering the OE is +20.2mm more (0.8"x 2= 1.6" overall.)
You would be asking for trouble, as the entire steering and suspension system is not set up for such an extreme change, and may I add is not adjustable.
Quick tire wear and cupping are liable to be the result, as well as additional stress on other steering/suspension components.

wheels look hot! looks like you are on stock suspension with no fender roll...? any rubbing with the 235s? my axis halos have the same specs but i have 225s and a fender roll with a lowered suspension. don't think i could squeeze 235s under there without rubbing.
