Thanks for the input, I definitely will never get a solid handle on the "artistry" portion of this hobby. lol

I think the photo would have more impact with the new "crop" and if you had gotten lower to the tracks.

Well, when I feel like getting another pair of boots full of snow I'll go retake it.. seeing as I took it from the end of my block, it shouldn't be too tough to get there!

has anyone used the Pro Optic extensions? I was looking at the Nikon ones, they seem to be hit or miss on the reviews.

That'd be why I posted the link...

I have the el cheapo plastic mount pro-optics. Work fine. What else can be said? Extension tubes have no optics, no degradation of image quality. I don't see why anyone would spend more...

i wish i didnt have to. the highs have only been in the low 20s the past few weeks and whenever i drive to and from work its single digit temps with wind chills below 0. I get my car washed once a week and the water freezes before i can hand dry it. thats why i dont take too many pictures during winter.

I think I missed something last night into this morning...oh well.

Anyway, the B&W is an HDR edited into B&W. Just experimenting with that a little bit. I wish I had more definition in the wheels, but I think it turned out decent.

when i saw your pics all i saw was a sn with an L, a white ms3 and thought it was laraw. it didnt help that it was a pic with snow which has been laraws recent trend for obvious reasons. so instead of writing lyon i wrote laraw, until vocko and backer caught it and i changed it lol. Thats all.
