What have you done to your MSP today?

beh.. would i have to get the kit from mazda then?

autzone doesnt even list the oil return line gaskets on either end... I made my own for the block out of that gasket kit crap. I placed the old gasket on it, traced it out, cut it out and installed it. The entire roll of the crap was like 5 bucks.. I think its called a paper gasket.. it comes in a roll.

I am hoping to install my JDP replica lip today or tomorrow... but i cannot find the thread with the instructions. If anyone has this bookmarked, or knows where it is, it would be greatly appreciated if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I didn't use a thread to install mine, just removed the bumper, lined up the lip where i wanted it and clamped it down. marked and drilled the holes put on the bolts and added extra big washers and reinstalled the bumper

Yeah, guess I will just go for it.... was just getting frustrated that I could not find the thread. I know I have seen it before.

What about the turbo side? Seriously? An o ring for hot oil return?

http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchan...tp&Product_Code=GRT-GSK-008&Category_Code=BCS

So would this not work? Tempted to rip all the stock oil an coolant lines and replace with flexible ptfe. Thinking that taking all this s*** off when i need to get to the mani is gonna suck pretty bad.

That looks pretty damn close to the block side of the oil return line gasket. Yes the oil return gaskset ON the turbo is just a o-ring looking thing. WHen you replace it you gotta remove the old one which will be hard as a rock and be plastic feeling.

So uhhhh where do i get this oring? Mazda? Or jyst find one that will fit?

Um... *scratches head* Why Cant I find Xcelerated Concepts's website?

edit: Found it but not loading o.0'

Edit Edit: Loaded now D: haha

go to a auto store and just match the oring, its what I did. I think I have a Mazdas OEM one somewhere. it costs to much though D: for a stupid oring.

Ordered some new front and rear swaybar bushings from the dealer today. I've ordered 2 sets of urethane bushings now and neither of them fit, so **** it I'll just stick with OEM and try to keep them greased regularly during oil changes.

I do the exact same thing...lol they're cheap enough and easy enough to replace when they get loud!

Just payed for a new carbon fiber thing, and a 2003.5 Gauge Cluster so I can swap them out for emission reasons ;)

Under 5000 miles driven a year in PA you get Emission Exempt. Aka I can run a standalone and STILL pass emissions. Inspection is still needing to be done but a CEL wont fail Inspection.

So Get emissions done, Go for 2000 miles with stock speedo, swap it with the other one. Run for the rest of the year. Emissions is coming up, swap them again with the stock one. TAAADAAA. Tons of my friends do it with their mod'd cars D: haha
