What have you done to your P5 today?

yea if they were 17's i would have bought them already. i wish they were just a tad bit smaller. =[ idk if its gunna be worth the effort. im sure in the end it would probably look pretty nice but in new york, its tough to be hellaflush. especially since its my Daily. so im prob gunna go with a no... BUT, i will have another opportunity to buy the '11 WRX wheels in a few months, i believe those are 17s, and are not 5 spokes, which will look better. Its nice having rich friends haha

Thta so true. When I had my S2000 there were slot of rich guys that would come to the meets. They would be like. Eh I don't like this rollcage that I bought. You want it? $150.

It was like damn. But too bad I was broke. Haha

haha yea thats the problem with me right now. ive been pretty tight on money but i will be getting my return in a month or 2 so between that and the financial aid refund check =P i should be ok lol

Found this on my memory card...it is a vid of the Speed3 exhaust on the P5...figured you guys may be interested in hearing it...

Blew the front left tyre yesterday, so the spare went on the back left & the back left went on the front - so I have the same size wheels on the front ;)

Will be a good couple weeks before I can replace them, seeing most tyre shops in Ipswich & Brisbane are under water!!! :(:(

I know here its like $50 per fender. Unless you can rent the tool out from somewhere.

I would say get them, and make them fit. lol

thats pretty pricey. I had a few shops take a look at mine and say the could do it for about $35 per fender but only if i got all 4 done at same time. I just went the cheap way and grinded it down and tack welded the 2 sheets together were durability mite have been an issue later

Spent all day yesterday and half of today installing/uninstalling AWR header and SLS catted midpipe *:cussing:

Also, while moving the intake tube, it ripped in half *:cussing: Good thing Hung had an extra.

Yesterday the O2 bung got caught on the oil pan and snapped the bung right off the header. *:cussing:

Today I tried the midpipe with the stock manifold/jpipe and the flange for the SLS was waaaay bigger than the jpipe, so there was a huge exhaust leak. *:cussing:

Only success this weekend was that I replaced my faulty fused distribution block so now my amp turns on again. At least I have music

i feel ya on the exhaust problems. every since i bought my damn header and midpipe theres been leaks, cracks, and problems everywhere. good thing I have a welder or i'd be out a ton of more cash

Currently deciding whether I should...

a) look at getting my current rear subframe fixed
b) buy a stock P5 rear subframe + upgrade to an AWR bar
c) buy a MSP rear subframe + upgrade to the MSP bar

Either way, I just want to get a rsb back on her...lol

What happened to your rear subframe, Jeff? I would say stock P5 rear subframe and 22mm Progress RSB. I likes mines a lots. Ask Ivan about his rear sway, I'm 90% sure he has an MSP rear subframe on his P5 but not sure which RSB he went with. With it being winter, you have plenty of time to decide before you start to get into the twisties again.

One of the nuts on the inside that you bolt the bracket for the rsb sheared off when I took off my stock rsb. I've been toying around with how it could be fixed but I'm thinking the best solution is to just replace it... Progress is still on my list too but I've got an inside line of the AWR or MSP at the moment, so... Ivan has the MSP rear subframe and MSP rsb...I was talking with Chris about it at your picnic and he said it took him like 6hrs to swap it out with the car on a lift and air tools!!! And you got it...thinking ahead to Spring...figure I'll get the parts now and ready to install so when the warm weather hits, I'm ready to zoom-zoom. lol

Today...took her thru the car wash which was badly needed and lost the annoying clunk that started two days ago in the rear. Hmmm...just after I did my snow plowing at work... Guess I didn't get all of the snow out of the wheel well or something. This morning it sounded like popcorn popping as I went over bumps.

Thing is the nut isn't stripped...it was sheared right off of the subrame leaving me with nothing to attach the bolt to. I stopped at a local welding place earlier and they were sure they could work something up but the fee is $75hr....

Wow that sucks, I don't what I'd do in your shoes...
