Anyone have a fender roller?

Hmm... looks like I should buy one of these...

Then you could have a rolling party!! (stoned) HAHA

But seriously, I am sure you could rent it out or even charge people to do it for them. I know there is a good amount of interest in Ohio

Another rolling party. We rented one for one earlier in the season. But seriously, I need to do my Civic. I'd like to do my MSM when I have the scratch for the 15x9's. It would just be another good tool to keep around.

Well count me in for a rolling party lol

How much do they normally cost to buy?

I'll look into it. However, I don't plan to buy one until I get back from China.

That's fine with me. Function-wise...I don't need a roll until after the winter season. My RX8 wheels are going to be powder coated with a fresh set of summer tires. But I can't afford any of that right now so the wheels won't be on the car again till then.

Cosmetically though, I would love to roll the fenders asap, or at least bend the metal back so it isn't noticeable. I'll post a few pics of the bent metal...it's in a really weird spot! (and on both sides in the rear)

This is the Rear Driver fender...and the bent metal is towards the front of the fender well. It doesn't look like it rubbed anywhere else on the fender. Also, it's like this on both sides! lol

I'd try to just take a small rubber mallet and try to gently tap it back into place. It shouldn't hurt the paint right there too much by just putting it back where it was. Hell, I'd say to bring it over sometime in the next few days and we can try to heat and get it into a safe position.

I'm off Thursday and probably not doing much. PM me your number if you are free.

I'll be home at 5pm wrenching on my P5 thursday after work if you want to stop by, Evan. Phen has a heat gun and some small mallets, I'm sure you could tap it back into it's original position. My P5 has spot welds in that same location that didn't want to roll with the fender roller when I did mine this spring. Maybe it's the same spot weld for the MS3s? Regardless, we should be able to work that spot back into place.

Then hopefully we'll have a fender roller available to you in the spring for the RX8 wheels, no worries. I'll PM you my number.

I'm probably taking the day off tomorrow, and Friday. Gonna use my vacation before I'm in China and can't take it any more.

I may come out, as I want to pull my plugs and check all of my wiring, before I do NASA this weekend.

come on out Marlon. You know all you have to do is say the word and it'll get done.

We don't run. We run s***.

Evans got my number and I'll be home at 5pm. If Phen is home all day then you can head over whenever you like, you guys can sort that out. And Marlon, you're always welcome, brotha! I always like coming home to a driveway full of Mazdas. (alright)
