I guess you will be shooting her back a lot. You could get her to bring stuff to hold in front of her face than defines her...like books, movies, art, or like a basketball. You get the idea.

Find out what she likes to do, and use her as a prop in a photograph of THAT.

Yeah.. the only thing is that it does not come with the hood. However... for the price... it is easily overlooked. A friend of mine has an extra one he said he would sell me.

I'm thinking the hood I got with mine might not be the genuine Canon one... it works though. Also, the guy said he "lost" the lens cap... He has already ordered one, and I am trying to get him to drive up to drop it off instead of shipping it... Maybe I can sell a car out of this whole deal too!

The hood should have the Canon logo on it and the model number like ET-83 or something. I have it stamped on mine.

The 24-70 hood also works on it but is a bit shorter.

Exactly..a hood is a hood. personally..i barely use mine. It just adds like an extra 4 inches to the thing...don't really need it.

I use mine always. I'm always defending against lens flare... I've even gotten it indoors from bright lights... I don't mind the extra length either.
