Well the all-season / summer tire debate comes down to your personal needs. If you need a tire for driving in the snow, then you need to get an all-season tire. If you never drive in the snow, then you can go with all-season (lower grip, better wear, typically more comfort) or summer (better grip, lower wear, typically harsher).

Some good all-season tires (in 225/40ZR18) are...
Continental Extreme Contact DWS (132/ea on TireRack)
Kumho Ectsa LX Platinum (112/ea)

Some good summer tires are...
Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 (180/ea)...what I currently run on my car
Yokohama SDrive (125/ea)
General Exclaim UHP (100/ea)

I tried to give you a sample of different price sizes, but with tires you always get what you pay for.

New tires

Hi neighbor,

I used to live in Chino about 20 years ago. I now live in Nor Cal. Unless you drive up to Big Bear during ski season you don't need an all weather tire.

I just installed a set of Hankook 215/45/18 tires on my stock MS3 suspension. Good reviews for autocross and road course HPDE events and at @ $130 per tire, not a bad deal. Road noise is very quiet and handling is very good.

When these wear out I will probably go to a 18 x 8.5 or 18 x 9 wheel with a 45mm offset and run 235/35/18s with the MS coilovers for track days.

that is the thing i do snowboard and every winter do drive up to the mountains , and funny were about in chino ive lived here for my entire life
