running 20psi on msp

no need to get upset about it. This is the nature of this forum. Everyone is trying to save you the heartache if..I mean when it blows. I understand that it was a "one time thing" but a boost controller should NOT be a first mod on a stock MSP. So, take off the boost controller and save up for supporting mods, then work your way up from there. You say, when it blows, then it will be time for a new motor. But the money you spend on a new motor could go somewhere else....Subbing for the next zoom zoom boom thread.

i dont care if he has a 1200 hp supra that does backflips and sucks chickens in the turbo and shoots chicken tenders out the back, he obviously knows thothing about the fsde.

i sure do! i dont know if uve seen my mod list but ive upgraded almost every part u can in the engine bay, forged rods and pistons goin in very soon so i can run higher boost the right way.

guys, this is stupid. the kid ran 20 psi, he has some mods, he got lucky and it didnt blow yet. lucky him.

he has already said hes not gonna keep doing it so maybe he took a lesson from people on here. its clear the sponsor knows nothing about the FSDE and if he has other cars and engines he knows about then great, more power to him. it doesnt change that he doesnt know what hes doing on this motor.

but in the end, its his car, his motor, and hes been warned. he wouldnt be the first person who knew he was gonna throw a rod but boosted it to s*** anyways. maybe he has the money to fix it, maybe he has a spare block, maybe its not his DD. whatever the case is, who cares.

and really, whats the point of showing youve got the smallest nuts by winning a fight on the internet? its played out, especially around here.

lol, i havnt run the unichip for over a year. list of parts goin in my car is k1 long rods, wiseco 8.8 comp pistons, gt3071r turbo, haltech platnum sprint 500 standalone. with these mods i can SAFELY run the 15 to 18 psi i want. the right way my friend. i didnt say i was special, but i do think ur full of s***.

i hear you, but i guess i get tired of beating down on cats around here after 72 posts. i think thats punishment enough for borderline ignorance. he did do some of the right mods to his car (cams, FMIC, AFC) so maybe he knows more than hes letting on about the FSDE but the so-called sponsor clearly does not.
