Ordered my brake lines today... Damian, we need an install party dude
dumb question, but you replaced the maf yesterday- is it installed correctly. yes there's a right and wrong way.
Cleaned the maf today. I actually had a 2nd maf in my garage. Cleaned it and threw it on. Car doesnt stumble anymore. Just some light hesitation.
Stealth - I bought the GM syncromesh from Autozone i think. It was 7-8 bucks a bottle. Took me two bottles. But i reccomend it to anyone. Good stuff.
when i ran that code for bank one too lean it was because of fuel cut, or basikly our ECU goes WTF STOP!!! whaa! fuel cut,. i ordered SSAFC, should fix my problem, hope this helps.

Damian! Hey bro! Where have you been? Hope all's well...

LOL, yeah, man it's installed correctly.
There's even an arrow on the side indicating which direction airflow should be...
I just ordered all new silicone couplings and T-bolt clamps to replace all the old ones in my intake plumbing. I'll see if this works. I did an inspection today and found my existing couplings to be very worn and cracked. I think that may be my problem. While driving today, I could swear I heard a whistling noise.
Dear GOD I hope it's only an intake plumbing leak that is the source of the code.
It a new and welcome experience for me to have a problem with such a simple and (relatively inexpensive) solution for once.
haha, ya that's what I keep thinking all along, I already have T-bolt clamps and good couplers, I re tightened them again today, and I just keep hoping that the problem isn't actually something big that is just being sneaky and playing with my head lol, like you said, would be nice for it to be so simple and solved without any major headaches and days of frustration (bang)
and ya stealthWyvern, it's funny to imagine how someone can screw up the install of the MAF, especially since the wires are hard to plug into the MAF if it's back words, would have to work to get them to fit somewhat, and with the arrow for airflow haha
BTW, everyone vote for MOTM, polls are open! it's a great month, lots of cool cars
I might get hell for this, painted the gtspec strut bar ends black today. I really didnt want to paint over the beautiful orange but it wouldnt work with my engine bay theme. Ill get pics up tomorrow hopefully.
Hit up a local install party today. I was the only protege there.![]()
