We're talking the spacers with new studs built in. So the old studs just need to fit in the pockets on the back of the wheel.

(hand)

My apologizes. I was gonna say, how u gonna run 15mm on stock studs (rofl)

check your wheels before you buy spacers. my te37's dont have deep enought pockets for 15 mill spacers on stock studs. to add 15 mil spacers i need to replace the stock studs with shrot studs so the wheel mounts flush the the spacer.

You could cut/grind the ends of the studs down just a bit.

I was surprised my studs fit in the back of the MP3 RH's... The studs looked to be wayyy too long, but they fit, lol. Definitely couldn't fit any skinner than 15mm. I was thinking about going with 20mm for that reason, but I'm glad I tried the 15s since they worked. I am still rubbing a little bit after rolling my fenders with the 15mm's. The 20mm's woulda been sick tho...

I tried to throw in camber bolts last night also, but the bolts in the strut were not cooperating. I pb blasted the crap outta them instead. I'll try to loosen them up this weekend poss. I don't think I could roll my fenders more than I did last night tho... I'll have to pull/stretch them if I need more room. A little extra neg. camber should take care of the last little rubs tho.

i been looking into spacers for a while. im a weirdo and i luv my stock wheels. but want more flush!
Im not slammed, just lowered a bit, so rubbing wont be an issue for mah fenders.
tried a friends 5mm universal spacers, didnt hardly make a difference, but was already losing quite a lot of stud in the wheel...

getting the 15mm Eibach Pro-Spacers, that bolt in like pictured above. i cant WAIT!

Nice, 15mm seems to be the perfect amount in the 3rd gen proteges (for me at least). Brings them just a hair past flush. Post up pics when you get them mounted. I want to see them on a 6!

i did before & after shots with the 5mm to see if i could tell teh diff, not really, lol.
I measured, with my camber it should make the top of the wheel like 1/16th" past the fender.

i recently changed my camber from -1.8 all around to -1.6, and got fully aligned, apparantly after mah springs i forgot to do that and it destroyed my xbrand crap tires. oops.

happens, lol. I am in need of an alignment right now. I'm going to get two wheels mounted here soon tho, so I am waiting to get it then.

Wheels are +45 and there 17x7. With spacers the final offset came to +19 in the rear and +22. The tires are 205/40's

Hmm, thats only 3mm more poke than 17x8 +35 and 12mm less than 17x9 +32

Damn, I can't make up my mind. :(

^Cool, I'm effectively @ +40 offset with 17x7 215/45. Your tires seem beefier than 205/40... Maybe it's just how the lip on those rims is. I'm thinking about going with 225/40 up front for s**** & giggles. Still undecided tho...

On another note, tire discounters charges $25 per wheel to mount tires, firestone won't mount tires that you don't buy from them. How much should I be looking to pay to have some rubber mounted after buying off tirerack? Currently, I'm looking to get my tires mounted @ tire discounters, then go across the street to firestone to get a 1 year unlimited alignment (tire discounters doesn't offer it).

I don't trust tire discounters too much tho. If they scratch my paint after I spend all this time on these wheels, I'm going to beat them with a tire iron. Seriously tho, I will definitely lose my cool. haha

what I did was I bought them off tire rack and had them shipped to my door. I mounted them my self for free at school....

They don't look ghetto. (shrug)

Ass-hat who had the MP3 b4 me already had attempted a fender roll and the paint was already all split & chipped. He cut recesses in the fender well, but they are uneven and oddly placed. (headshake

try bigotires if there around you, its was $20 for each tire mounted

Never heard of em... I'll call around a couple more places b4 I get it done. I still need to order the tires. I'm still wavering back and forth about whether or not to up to 225/40.
