NEMOC Random BS Thread

12"x12" marble tiles.

I would rent a tile saw if that's easiest, it's a 6 ft 6" by 3 ft 6" area (roughly).. I'll check rental prices.

I was looking at the prices.. I think with a bag I would get a lot of left over material but maybe I could save it for future tiling projects. Is there a difference between mortar and adhesive? I saw both in the store. Is the adhesive just for stick on tiles? I'm a nooooooob.

The subfloor has linoleum glue stuck to it. That needs to come off, correct? I was almost considering just putting down another layer of subfloor except it'll make it thicker so it won't line up with the hallway... :( Subfloor is okay otherwise.

Those are big for a bathroom, did you lay them out to see what they look like, just an FYI

Saw is like $75 a day

NO adhesive! That is for crappy stick tiles. You need tile mortar.

You will probably need a new subfloor and use the stuff for tile, not plywood.

Email me, it's easier than this.

Good afternoon everybody. I am home with Kaila who put in a rough night with the flu bug. She's been keeping liquids down since 4am but doesn't want to think about solids right now.

I've uninstalled the trial copy of MS Office 2007 on both laptops and installed the student version on KK's and the full version on ours. $21.95 for the full version thru the HUP program at work including a backup dvd. :D

Man what a game. Awesome play from both teams. Best hockey I have ever seen no matter who won. Was glad to see Miller win MVP.

For a minute I thought we were going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I was almost ill when Team USA scored with less than 30 secs.

spoken like a canadian who doesnt live in canada. you should have put up pic of team usa and a pile of poop. lol.

i agree tho....totally as good as i expected. the lump in your throat was a jump and a cheer for me with the usa empty net goal. the canada OT goal happened out of nowhere....didnt expect it and then was like....what hapened?! lol. all those saves by miller it almost seemed like this one would have been an easy save....sometimes you just cant save em i guess. he was a beast the whole series either way. good for you canadians. you gotta be good at something i guess. lol jk.

canada: barely better than America at a sport they invented.

Don't remember where I saw that, but I figured I'd repeat it.

does it still say "Within the week there'll be a new Redd-Design web site launching...and I'm excited! I'm making a push to make the site less me and more about clients...ie, separating business from personal stuff. I'm still looking for a full-time position, but I'm still running a design business, therefore I'll keep my personal resume on a new site I'm still working on"

or am i looking at an older cached version

i might be looking at a cached version....but on the "redsign of redddesign" link there are a few misspellings...

Matthew Hill is an up-and-coming actor in the Los Angelos, CA area. He wanted a site that would be easy to navagate for potential agencies, and would house his headshots and resume. He also uses the front page to show his blog.

shePedals Magazine is a magazine in CA focused on women cyclists. The site was a definate upgrade and elements of our design are seen on the site today

The previous version of Redd-Design desparately needed an overhaul. It was designed as primarily a personal portfolio, and lacked some flavor. This design was rethought and created from the ground up, utilizing almost completely new code as well as new thinking to the design. Rollover to see the previous design (V2).

Jenn Riordan is an illustrator that needed a simple-yet-classy design to showcase her work and achievments.

On my browser/resolution/screen when my browser window is maximized (as it was when I loaded your page) the "find us" thing at the top was obscuring part of your name (covering up the top half of the G and the N)

Not sure if the links to the boston charity poker logo and clutch logo are supposed to be links, but for me they are unclickable. im thinking this is an older version of your site cached in my proxy though.

Haven't updated the blog yet for #1, and thanks for catching my misspellings, usually I'm on top of those things...working at 1am, oops.
