Easy. Start your car,
before you put it in drive, reach over your shoulder and find the strap. Click it in place and you can now put your car in drive.
Told you it was easy, lol.
That's not 100% of the time.I'm in a MS6 and would like to know. I wear my belt 100% of the time but occasionally slip it off in the neighborhood or pulling into my driveway.

it seems to come on earlier than 11mph, but maybe so.If it's any consolation, it doesn't beep unless the Mazda5 is being driven faster than 11 mph so parallel parking or driveway maneuvers wouldn't cause it to beep.
And if it does beep, it'll stop after a minute or so.
Geez...funny how you guys argue and get all ******* preachy about seatbelt use.
My concern is not the sealbelt minder but rather, the dinger when I have the key in the ignition and turned to accessory position to listen to the radio with the door open.
And regardless WHY I want it off, I just want to know if anybody knows where the actual sound-maker is.[/QUOTE
Hello,
