I have an idea may interest you, you put a pre-turbo cooler, its the stackplate type transmission oil cooler, put it inline before the turbo oil inlet line.

Something like this? In-line cooler

have you heard of laminova's heat exchanger? its at least 20% better that traditional air to oil coolers. basically what it is, is; a coupler that is taped into the coolant lines. from which there are fins attached to the tube that coolant passes threw. the oil is pushed over the fins and is cooled down. ultra efficient, and ultra sleeper like

here it is on a turbo Hayabusa:

saw it in modified mag, pretty interesting

well I dont think 200F coolant can cool much the engine oil..Actually im using the heat exchange inside my radiator to heat the oil up to operating temperature, then cool it down bypass the normal oil cooler at certain. Im pretty sure temperature 20C of aimbient air cools better than that exchanger with engine coolant. Thats probably not the case if the exchanger is used with room temp water or sumthin like that.

well the reason its so efficient is because it has THOUSANDS of .3mm fins that create a sa 5 times that of a equal size oil cooler.

Where is your water temp sensor? That's a bit high, but I don't think the turbo is the issue if its only adding 5*F to the equation between idle and boosting.

that was what I was thinking... if the turbo was to blame... it would be adding a LOT more heat to the equation when its working.

Not to say that isn't adding to your issue.. but I don't think thats the primary one.

That is a bit high i have the hiboost kit also. I'm usually at 198F at idle and 200F while boosting. Afr are 13.5-15.5 while cruising i know its a bit lean. But 225 damn!

Get a low temp thermostat, or since you're in sunny Spain, run without one altogether!

For anyone considering an oil cooler, the stock MSP one is VERY EFFECTIVE I dropped 45*F on my oil temps with it (when combined with the AWR pan.) Also, consider adding some cooling fins to your pan if you wanna go really nuts. HKS makes some nice ones.

oil cooling fins??? Thats a first... i can only find oil coolers so I'm not to sure what your talking about.
