Not excatly. It does slow gpm in the system cause of the added length and extra turns of the coolant system. Its call friction loss in a hydronic system.

But were talking not noticable.... lol

Brain fart. I was thinking in terms of pressure, not flow.

Well I brought my car with me because it was paid off, it was Taxes and custom fees exempt and fully legalized to be driven on the street in here in Spain, now if you go to US and buy one and put all of the stuff i did they wont legalize it, i have so many s*** in the car that in here its illegal but since i brought it as a personal belonging and residense change they legalize it the way it came from USA, you get my point. also i had so much money invested that selling in it US was not an option. In here i drive something nobody has or cant have cause there is so many things that are illegal in the car in here that only bringing it from US as a residense change and personal vehicle you won`t be able to drive it or pass inspection. In here i have the option to sell it for what 5,6,10 times the price of the car in US. i was offered not long time ago a very ridiculous amount of money for it and i said no. Having a car nobody has with everything you already know it has have a price...

Also I will wipe the floor with that focus.... lol not to mention i ******* ***** my friends Gallardo..... his ass still hurting........

I know this car is not the best platform but hey we all have the same because i guess we all love these problem child car, but i also guess we are all happy with these cars... I love my protege man and i feel very proud of owning it and much more in here.. I just need to fix the last weak spots of it and have in mind i have taken an 130 HP engine to 4.5 times more HP so s**** are going to break is just a matter of taking good care of her...

Even all the money i have spended on this car will not guide me to any car that i will like from here, YOu just dont know how much cars are in here, for you to have an idea a Mazda RX-8 is € 48,000 well thats $ 72,000 Well INSANE if you ask me any good descent sport car in here it will start from 45k- 60k Euros.. That ford focus costs € 50,000 euros and i can tell you bro i can **** the s*** out of it with my protege all day and night long for a s*** load less of money.. I mean i know what your saying dumping money to cars is not worth it but when you have so much invested is better to finish up than giving up, but thanks for the advice Maxx

ew that focus is looks terrible.
I would NEVER drive that lol.
Good job with the protege man, I'm just surprised your transmission held together even though your on bad tires.

That rs focus is nothing to sneeze at, Got news for you this car has some balls.
Take this cars 5 cylinder volvo motor , its basic stock at the moment. Already a few tuners have worked a little magic and gotten 370 horses already. Now what if a few others start to evolve the parts, with aftermarket products and the us tuners get a hold of it.as far as it looks. I personally really like it, Would rock this badass all day if i could get 1.

Nothing against your speed, cause it kicks ass for sure !!!!!!!!!

223 F at idle, 225 F driving and 228 F boosting, thats way to much...
remember that rusty ass s*** I called you out on many pages ago when you posted pics of your head? you also told me on MSN the mazdaspeed (NOT stock MSP guys) low temp thermostat was crap... it wasn't until I started asking you questions that you finally told me you got some "best s***" eurotrash bulls*** coolant from your local auto parts store which concluded to the fact that you were running some unknown cocktail piss and it ruined your cooling system... I did tell you before you got the car back on the road (with the wossners) that you needed to throw that s*** out and go to the dealer to get the mazda coolant and to use the mazda thermostat... there's far less universal s*** in europe than america

1) that s*** rusted out the inside of your engine, and it can NEVER be truely removed
2) the rust from your engine rusted up that poor mazdaspeed thermostat after a month
3) god knows if you even used tap water since european tap water is super hard compared to american ones
4) the rust from your engine might've build up a pile of s*** inside your radiator
5) there's such a thing as too thick... a super thick radiator with densely packed fins PREVENTS air flow through it and therefore there is a lack of heat exchange
6) poor air flow guided to the radiator... lack of splash guards, shrouding, etc could force to "leak" away from the radiator instead of forced into it
7) I don't remember if you're running a UDP water pump pulley... if you are, you need to put the stock s*** back on because it's spinning too slow for proper flow
8) I don't remember if you're running a high pressure cap or not, and if you aren't you need to put a BRAND NAME one on instead of some mickey mouse ebay bulls***... a high pressure cap COULD help reduce cavitation
9) the rust in your engine is impeding water flow
10) the rust in your engine is causing cavitation and hotspots due to pockets of s*** everywhere

till this day, you have never told me wtf piss you put in that radiator before and ****** up your engine... you told me you were going to take pics of the bottles, but I told you I didn't care about the ******* pics... I just wanted you to write down wtf the bottle is and the brand of it and I could figure it out myself unlike you who severely sucks at google

+1 They're different chasses.

The amount of bad information beginning to get thrown around in this thread is making my head hurt.
but, the source of absolute truth is back!

this is tru.. sounds like ppl are using his car in Europe as a lab rat...if he would go with what works.. and check the motor properly.. make shure all tolarances and p2v and v2v are corect. and have a proper tune.. |Was your motor ever clayed?| i asked if the shop he deals with has built that f1 car soo im assuming there specialist in N/A applications who rev there motors to 10-13k rpm.. and then rebuild them.. im my eyes sorry i dont want to offend you but.. it fails.. its being planned out wrong.. how many 500hp 4cylinders do you see with a/c power steering..

seriously why build a 500+hp car and be cheap on brakes, radiator, and all these small part like thermostat?? Wah De Fok? I guess he needs to know its easy to put 500+ hp, but its hard to make it reliable on the same time.

First of all whos being cheap in here ? i havent bought brakes yet because simply all this s*** ive done costs s*** load of money on parts and labor, and as you already knows like most of the people in here i aint Richie Rich either, you simply cant afford having everything at the same time so if you really dont know my story dont come here saying im a cheap ass.

I can tell you dont know me or all of the stuff i had to go through to do all these, I had the JDM Thermostat back at USA and it was s***, i paid hundred something for it and had to replace it. I paid TBK s*** load of money to basically put the best s*** there where in the market for this car and simply kept the money is it hard to understand that ? I paid them to put the best rad on the market and they simply added a Protege 5 radiator, i paid them to put custom turbo cams and they didnt so quit saying im being cheap because the people that really knows me i dont... I bought the Corksport Radiators on last minute before car went inside the container and i had no time to source anything better and faster.

trying to make an excuse to justify your skewed priorities is even worse than not saying anything at all

bad move

why was my car one of the slowest for 6 years? because I cared about reliability and safety... I upgraded things that mattered first... brakes and suspension... you didn't, you made your choice... so it is also prudent of you not to haul ass

how is that JDM thermostat s*** when I've been running this for 3 years now (with temps NEVER exceeding 212 but always averaging 185 on a stock MSP radiator during blistering summers), and a couple of other guys I know have been running this almost as long? How about it being race proven since it is installed in a red P5 race car that took part in the CCTCC touring car races as well as the grand am cup... a race car that was running a mere "thin core" ron davis "street" radiator instead of the triple pass everyone uses that had issues overheating at the pit... what did that thermostat do? stabilized temperatures while on track to no more than 210 degrees, and never past 212 in the pit! and that's a bunch of laps! so that JDM thermostat is a piece of s*** huh? oh that's right, you ran some "best" coolant that did some crazy s*** to your cooling system

good job for you paying big bucks to a bunch of people to help you put s*** in... why don't you TAKE YOUR TIME and research what to get first before going out and spending the money? people say you're always in such a rush and it is true, you want to know right away and you get mad when I tell you I'm busy... don't blame all those people solely on ripping you off because you didn't research, and was too A.D.D to document the details of what was done and to what specs... dude, you couldn't even tell me wtf spark plugs you were running... all you could do is tell me you were going to take pics of them! again, why do I care for the pics when simple specifics is all I need? I told you before, people can't help you if you don't know s*** about what is exactly done to the car... I also told you that you got no ground to stand on against anybody who "ripped you off" if you don't know what they did... so far due to lack of documentation on your wossner piston build, it's your mechanic's word against wossner, which doesn't prove s***

so keep on staying unorganized and undocumented, since it's clear to everyone here you have money to spend one way or another... no one is buying the "I'm not rich" s*** you're trying to pass off... if you really want to stop blowing money away, you really need to do what I'm telling you to do

so where are those pics of "the best" coolant? I'm still waiting for them
just because you spend a lot of money doesn't mean you're buying the best... when are you going to learn money isn't going to buy you everything?
