I am new to the forums!
But i got my Mazada3 in early March! I am from Louisville and was the first one in the area to have the new generation 3! Mines is Graphite Mica, with the 2 tone beige and black leather, and i have got the windows tinted 15% and i have a kicker l7 subwoofer in the trunk with full dynamat! I also have the factory navigation, keyless entry

Just traded my Black 2008.5 Canadian model Speed3 on a Black 2010 Canadian Speed3.

I got a crazy deal, so I couldn't resist.

I would have went white this time but the deal was on a black one.

Just picked up the car yesterday. Its been a blast so far. I finally understand what zoom zoom is all about.

Bought my 2010 Mazda 3 Touring last month, gunmetal blue mica... i've been enjoying it. just wish i had the 6 speed, i can live without the 2.5 especially in NoVA traffic with the steady 2.0 gas mileage.

Just got my Speed3 (Grand Touring, Mexican Spec) last friday, its great so far, no troubles at all and im pretty happy about it!!

I just cant wait for the breaking in period to be over!!!

Precisely!! Although its not black, its cosmic grey, the same shade of grey it has on the front bumper (in the grill)

Just picked a Mazda 3 for the wife this evening...6 grueling hours at the dealership. lol Nah its wasnt that bad. Its night time here so ill post up some pics tomorrow morning. I guess ill be on this side of the house more often. Kinda wanted to trade in the P5 for a 2010 MS3 lol

New MS3 owner

Picked up my MS3 last Saturday. Came down with the flu that night so it sat in my garage for a week before I drove it again(sad2).Its Celestial Blue Mica with the Tech Package. Quick question? When I got home that night from picking up the car and looked in my glove box I found my oil filler cap. I immediately opened the hood thinking those idiots forgot to place this on my car only to fined a nice billet alum red mazdaspeed cap in it's place. Is this a standard item on 2010 MS3's? Didn't see it listed anywhere on the orig sticker.

Yes, I think it ships with the stock plastic cap on the car, but the aluminum cap comes standard and is dealer-installed. They put my plastic cap in the glove box as well.

Road trip notes

Picked up mine Saturday. Mazda3 sport 5 door. Velocity Red, 6 speed, Bose/sunroof. I'll post some pics after our weekend road trip to South Carolina. Gotta see how trip mileage looks.

We got back from SC yesterday evening. About 500 miles round trip. On the return leg we noted average speed 70 mph, 27.8 mpg. This was mainly interstate, with no chance to tackle the twisties without going far out of the way. At 78 mph on what as far as I could tell was a level stretch we could get about 30 mpg, at 60 on a long level stretch it showed 34.8 mpg for 5 minutes or so. Not too shabby.

Those Yokohama tires do seem loud. Any thoughts from y'all? The wind noise is low, I guess that .30 drag figure is not BS. A couple of random thoughts for Mazda: lose the mirror turn signal repeaters and give us defrost on the side mirrors! Obviously, MORE HORN!! With all the sensors all over the engine and everywhere, how about temperature, oil pressure (oil temperature??) and ammeter/voltmeter readouts in the info screen? Bar graphs would do nicely and could be another setting on the info button. All too many oil pressure indicators don't light up until pressure is REALLY LOW; I like to know that the engine temp is at least "off the peg" before I get on it. Could this even be merely a software update??? Inquiring minds want to know!

BTW, I can't find in the owner's manual the curb weight, i.e. without passengers or cargo. Am I just missing it?

Regardless, the "MazdaBall" is a lot of fun to drive. I need to wash it before I post some pix.

I picked up a 2010 MS3 Black mica last Monday. Ive been lurking around the forum for a week now but finally found the time to post. As for the car, I love it! I'm coming from a long line of Chevy muscle cars which include 5 camaro SS's and an 01 z06 corvette, the last car being the Vett. I had a tremendous love hate relationship with the z06 due to the daily "drivability" factor, the car was so damn low and fragile that I was afraid to take it anywhere which made the MS3 an obvious choice when it came to purchasing a new car. I love the fact that I can drive this car anywhere at anytime and still have performance to keep me interested. The MS3 has far surpassed my expectations in terms of handling, this car truly sticks! As for power Im not as enthusiastic but am satisfied, I'm sure with the addition of intake, downpipe, exhaust, etc the car will be a monster. I look forward to posting up pics soon since I recently had the windows tinted 20%, blacked out the wheels, and had painted the calipers!
