so the set of FD wheels down that way suck, 2 quality tires that are worn, 2 walmart tires with some tread... think I'm gonna go with the cheaper ones, that include centercaps, and better tires that are in the opposite direction, a little bit further away.

I did... and she even ANSWERED (this is surprising... long story)... its possible that I'd be goin up there at this point, but less likely if she's coming down here sometime soon. I'll keep you posted.

yeah, theoretically next week... I'll try to actually have a conversation with her this weekend... if she's willing to do the pickup then we'll see. that would bring them as far as my parents' place in east troy.

Sweet, the guy is in Plymouth, MN. He's sending me his addy early next week. I'll roll to Troy is need be, thats not nearly as far as Plymouth. Lemme know, if she feels uncomfortable I completely understand. Like I said before, if I need to go myself it's no big deal, though I'd prefer not to.

well, if she doesn't come down here, I'll likely be going up there sometime soon... its more a question of if she can get off work than comfortability. she may be a 5'1 cute asian (my uncle married a japanese woman)... but she's not afraid of a DAMN thing. lol
get me all the details you can, when you think payment would be happening (likely before either this weekend or next weekend?) and we'll see what we can do.

Thats a tad creepy bud, I didn't know Wisconsin was so close to Arkansas.
As for payment, I was going to pay him when I picked them up. If your cousin or you picks them up I'll send him a check post dated to the date of the pickup. This way all you or her would have to do is pick up the wheels and hit the road. As for the gas money, if she rolls down to your 'rents tell her to fill up before she leaves and when she gets there and I'll reimburse her. Once I have more info from the guy I'll give it to you. I'm going to get fresh pics with signage before I send him the cash. It's the only way I can confirm the goods whether I go or not.

Stage 1 Brake upgrade complete
Well I got my SS Brake Lines installed today. Swapped out to some ATE brake fluid too. Combined with Axxis Ultimate F/R Pads that I picked up from THM a few months ago, the end result is a much more sure feeling to the Brake Pedal. Very firm. I have not had the chance to push the brakes hard enough to confirm this, but I would suspect there is no longer any brake fade of any kind. I certainly would never get any sort of fade on public roads. The feel is confidence inspiring though.
