stupidity WIN! - need help

my roof rack for the bike got a little loose...I saw it was loose and figured I'd fix it when I got home...
and I hit a bump I guess.
The darn thing left a bulge on the roof...back rear door side.

any tips on fixing this ?

I guess I try to access it from the inside and tap it out :/

pic is bad but if its a small dent use a suction cup and pull that s*** out. I have used suction cups meant for holding a camera if you skydive or anything, they work great and dont break loose under pressure. If it seems kinda big you dont wanna crack the paint so you would have to use a heat gun to soften it before pulling it out.

I went to harbor freight and bought a lil suction cuup..it did not work cause the dring is on a curved section.
I am going to try a body shop...and if that fails..then ding king.
