I think its the water pump... sounds like the bearing is shot. Seems like there's two ways to test my theory. One is to swap in a working pump and see if the noise goes away. The other is to remove the belt so nothing is connected to the pump and start the car (but don't run it for long... doh!)
If the pump & pulley aren't turning and the noise goes away, it was the pump (or the shaft the pulley mounts on).
I had the car on for a little, after it overheated w/o the belt and there was no noise, it wasn't until I reinstalled the belt that there was noise.
Also, I installed 2/3 of a es rear seat. Man it looks sweet, but the 3rd and final piece is currently lost within the ups network![]()
youre not talking about my seats are you? I sold them to Big Lou? and one of mine is lost in UPS... wierd
Just bought Oil Return line w/ Turbo Fitting, ForceFed Column Pod & 3qts of Redline 75w90 Transmission oil.
Also filled the car up with gas and parked it for the weekend.
