Next up like I said above as well I picked up some 02-03 WRX seats today. They need some vacuuming and cleaning up but they are in perfect condition otherwise and I got them for an amazing price:

I wanted to get them re-upholstered to match my interior better but after making a few call's to different upholstry shops in the area I figured out how expensive that really is unfortunately($150-$200 per seat!). Oh well, I am probably just going to install them as is anyway possibly this weekend.

Cool stuff... hope you get those TC wheels soon, then it will look pretty darn sick. One question though, why not strip off the ugly black side moldings?

Yah, me to. The wheels are still at the machine shop. As for the side moldings unlike Mazda's the sidemoldings on Subarus are bolted on. So they would leave behind even uglyer holes.

love the wing!

Thanks. I am lovin it. (cabpatch)

7/17/09 UPDATE:

I was going to dye the carpet black but couldn't bring my self to do it because the condition of it and for whatever other reason I don't know(just lazy I guess). The blue does not look to bad. I was subprised. I might experiment with some fabric paint and see if I can paint the center black and see if the paint will hold up on seats.

Next update I got some gumption tuesday evening and desided to pull my tranny mount and fill it with some 3M Window Weld to stiffin it up quite a bit:

It was pretty scarry to see how easily it wobbled back and forth. I can feal a bit of difference while excellerating, quite a good mod!

Till next time! Godbless! Dan

Awesome! Are those your old seats on the left? Personally, I think those look better than the ugly blue WRX seats lol.

Yes, the grey seats on the left are my old seats. The WRX seats may not match my interior as much as my old seats but they are by no means ugly and they are by far the best seats subaru has made performance wise in the US bar none! They actually match my interior pretty well if you see them in person.

I just think the seats would look A LOT better if they kept it a solid black. Your build is looking really good though. Any other plans for the engine?

you should have gotten some '09 wrx seats.....all black with red embroidered WRX, they would match your theme really well....

....as well as cost you an arm and a leg I'm sure =)

Yah, I would definetally agree they would look better black. I might get them reahpolstered in the future, or I might try to use some fabric paint to see if it will hold up.

The 04-09 WRX seats don't have as big side bolsters as the 02-03 WRX seats. I decided to go for more performance than style.

7/30/09 UPDATE:

Just got one update for you guys this time. I have been working on making a cooling plate for my radiator and just got it finished and installed last night. I painted it with some truck bed spray liner(very durable stuff):

Also will be picking up my wheels from the machine shop and dropping them off to get powdercoated in the next week or so. Then I will just have to save for tires for a little bit and they will finally will be on the car. After that I can finally do my front H6 brake conversion as well. Till next time. Godbless! Dan

looks great. What is it made of?

Thin but very strong steel. Could not find a sheet of aluminum the right size or thickness so I just compromised with this. Cut it with my disk grinder. Got it at Ace Hardware, came in a 8"x24" sheet.
