What have you done to your MSP today?

rebuilt front passenger side caliper. had no idea what to do as i had never did it.

was not that bad tho, hardest part was the new seal. started way too late and it got way too dark for anything else. Still need to bleed brake.. which brings up a question when i bleed the brakes, do i have to do it at all 4 wheels or just the one i rebuilt?

just curious why you were rebuilding it??

EDIT: oh, and hype the 1000th page!

havnt done anything new to my msp recently, but i did put some seafoam into the gas tank of my mom's millenia, and did not get any white smoke from the exhaust. anyone know why?

run it through the IM for the smoke. But last time we did seafoam on a buddie's we did not get much smoke at all. Engine could be cleaner then you thought. IDK.

ya, as boostd said you have to do all 4.. and you should/have to do it (probably don't have to, but is highly recommended to do it right) is to go from the furthest away to the closest... so it would be RR (rear right), RL, FR (front right), FL.. good luck, I would make sure you keep a really close eye on the break fluid, when I did it, it was getting dark and I didn't see the fluid drain down, and I had to redo it all (squinty) it sucked.. big time

today I plan to strip the rest of my old car, suspension still left and the other parts under the car, as well as a few other random parts.. and all I wanna do is work on my new car lol, at least it's not raining anymore

I rebuilt it cause the boot seal or w/e was badly torn and my caliper was sticking badly. rebuild kit = 8 bux + 1 scraped knuckle is better then 70+ for a new caliper

Hmm. I get this obnoxious noise from my right front brakes... I took things apart and cleaned and lubricated everything and t went away for about a week, then came back. I dunno what causes the noise or what to do about it.

concluded that I need to change out my inner cv boots soon. anyone know where I can find a write up? I searched to no avail
