The Perrin/Turbolife Install epic (56k?! ppl still have that???)

Do you have a wideband? I'm asking because my original tune with the AFC went really lean at some spots after the Turbolife install.

I hope the maintenance on the HKS helps. It's weird, I would of thought your set-up would only cause stalling on occasion but not bogging.

My perring sucked on install i did mine on the ground also but it was so worth it in the long run

No I need to get one one day, but I think the fact that I'm still running the unichip that is on the stock tune its running rich more than anything

The car will only stall if I force it to stall, but to be honest as long as you know the bogging is there you can easily work around it and its no longer an issue

It should most definitely be your next mod...very important. When I ran your unit on my car, my AFR's at stock boost were 12.2-12.5...until 5500 where it would dip a little 11.8 A/F. Perfect afr's but no room for error. Now with the Perrin...I'm almost certain your running a full point leaner in some area's. I hope I'm wrong...just be careful man.

Yours looks like it went smoother, and more comfortable then mine :)

Gawd dam Rain storm! I got your Rachet and 17mm too. Must have left it attached to the bolt for the rear MM. Its crazy that it stayed in there for 500KM.

Ill give you a call this week, we can do something. You installing anything soon?

Man I was so worried when I saw your name on my cell all I could think of was "s*** there's got to be something wrong..."

I think sunday is open for me to get your HID's done. I found that I need to re-replace all my ground wires again because I'm an idiot that doesn't seem to understand why we use copper and not aluminum wiring for things LOL

Call me and we'll set something up

another update for all, I've received the new couplers and have determined the source of the turkey...its that damn WGA being all bad. I did the test and there is a small hole that open up under heavy load (it will actually hold 6psi to a certain point) that is also causing a large vac leak between shifts and at idle.

The WGA is coming out ASAP and a new one going in...hope this fixes the turkey issue, but that also means back to the mad bogging I guess...might see if I can cut the pipe up for a MAF relocation but thanks to the location of the BOV it might be hard

Any bumper sag as of yet?

be careful with those headlight tabs people!!! they break real easy. i broke mine of course when installing the turbolife

I broke mine off three times.... hitting a coon, pulling up to far and ripping the bumper off(broke 2 tabs and headlight tabs), and reinstalling the bumper (plastic weld didnt hold for s***). lol

no major sag, but because I broke a clip on the pass side the the bumper doesn't line up properly on that side and under the headlight

other than that its fine...just don't lean on my bumper...LOL

my tabs by my headlights stick out... i need to take a heatgun to it and form the bumper to bend back in after it being smacked, ripped, and smacked on dips on the road so man times. I can pickup the passenger side of my bumper a good 2 or 3 inches and then everything lines up right.
