Hello all -
I just "seafoamed" my MP5 at lunch today - 2002 , 124k miles on the clock. I used the "brake booster vacuum line" method, and it worked jsut fine.
it smoked for about 2 minutes after re-start, a little on my highway run, then faded.
I got no CEL's at all, and things seem just fine right now. What I want to know is - SHOULD I, or do I HAVE TO, reset my ECU?
I wasnt clear from all the previous posts if that was only once(or if) you got a CEL during seafoam-ing.
I reset mine last week, after pulling and cleaning my MAF.
thanks! !!
