oof, fail, slacker has commercials every now and then....thats kinda lame if you want the free version...pandora only makes you suffer visual adds.

I usually listen to Slacker at the gym. I realize they have to make money and all but I find their commercials to be annoying as hell. Often times, after skipping just once or twice, I'll get an F'in 30 second BS commercial about upgrading to Slacker + See, if it was an actual commercial for some other product... it might not be as bad. (Sometimes commercials can actually be entertaining) But if you've heard one... you've heard em all. The workaround, of course, is to simply exit out of it and restart the app.

download the Pandora mobile app....after playing w/ slacker last night Pandora is faster and has no commercials. win.

I have it too. Actually used it before Slacker came out. For some reason, I just prefer the stock selection of stations Slackers has more. ie 90's rock. Also, the sound quality of pandora's not as good as slacker (when on 3G) They're about the same on Wi-Fi though.

How's Pandora's music selection? Pretty decent? I always seem to find new s*** on Slacker that I absolutely love.

Pandora usually gives me a pretty decent mix, just add a bunch of names to your "station" from the genre you want it to play and it gives you tons...

I believe you can also share your stations with others. I have a pretty good techno/trance station set up that I use for background music while at work or gaming...
