What have you done to your P5 today?

Got a set of 02 P5 wheels I can get for 120 locally. Anyone interested?

im having some trans problems guys....car grinds whenever i go to shift it into 3rd but it goes into every other gear fine, and when im shifting from 4th down to 3rd if i apply slow but constant pressure it'll pop in without grinding

im thinking its a shift linkage problem but idk, any input?

i ordered mine offa ebay and got it 3 days later? ive heard their shipping is hit or miss. guess i lucked out. but we need to set up a photoshoot. ive got a dslr camera and need to test it out

You may be lucky enough to have a bad rear mount but not likely. Synchro and possibly shiftfork. Try some Lucas HD additive with a tranny fluid change and it will help a bit but a rebuild is pretty much inevitable I'm sorry to say.

Wow, I've long since forgotten what the rear end of a classic red P5 looks like without being covered in oil residue. Man it's been a while since my car has been that clean. Looks good man - I need to paint my valence one of these days. BTW, what paint did you use?

Thanks bro. The paint still looks pretty good after 70,000 miles. I keep it clean and waxed regularly. I also claybar once a year. Now that the turbo is done, I'm focusing on exterior mods...specifically wheels.

OF COURSE I could skip any further exterior mods all together and keep building the motor. For some reason I like the idea of rocking a monster turbo on stocker 16" chromies.

Just got home from the parents place where my tyres were waiting for me Fitment, balancing & wheel alignment will happen early tomorrow morning as work is a 10min walk across the river...

The tyre, not as sexy as the ecsta's ryan is getting for the MS-01's

And who said you cant fit 4 tyres & 4 rims & tyres in an astina hatch!

I used Krylon BBQ flat black spray paint

I do suggest also doing a clear coat though. Went and had my car buffed and waxed and they ate away the black paint with the buffer, so, i need to respray both cars

Hey, congrats man! Looks like Jen may actually need to learn how to row a gear box now. Trust me when I say don't teach her on the S2k... light flywheel + no down low torque = stall monster for n00bs

I told him he can teach me on the RX-7. (rlaugh)
